Hi,
Thank you for welcoming me to your space today.
I want to invite you to get comfortable either sitting upright or lying down if that's more comfortable for you.
Take a few deep,
Steady,
Stabilising breaths.
And now I want to invite you to put your arms around yourself.
Take hold of each upper arm in the opposite hand and rub your arms gently with love.
Give yourself a big hug.
Imagine that you're holding somebody very precious and dear to you.
You are in fact very precious and dear.
I'm going to give you ten affirmations.
You can repeat them out loud or in your head,
Or you can let my voice carry the vibration through your body.
I am worthy of love,
Respect and happiness.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I choose to focus on my strengths and positive qualities.
I am proud of who I am and all that I have accomplished.
I treat myself with kindness,
Compassion and understanding.
I am deserving of success and abundance in all areas of my life.
I am confident in my decisions and trust my inner wisdom.
I embrace my unique qualities and celebrate my individuality.
I am resilient and capable of overcoming challenges.
I am enough,
Just as I am,
And I love and accept myself unconditionally.
Keep breathing naturally and soak in the energy that you've created,
That supportive loving energy that fills you and surrounds you and comes from you.
When you're ready,
Unwrap your arms,
Remembering the truth of each one of these statements as you go about your day.
Maybe write one on a sticky note and put it somewhere you'll see it often,
Or make it your phone lock screen,
And remember that you can come back to this meditation any time you feel the need to.
Carry your self-worth with you,
Like a shield,
Like a blanket,
Like a big warm hug.
