Chakra Shuddhi Purification of the Chakras Come to your meditative posture,
Sitting in Siddhasana,
Padmasana or Free Seat.
Feel the body relax.
Bring your mind to the present moment by just feeling the body here and now.
Notice the breathing,
A natural cadence in and out.
Become aware of the sensations in the body.
Become aware of the emptiness in the body.
Focus on the breathing.
The breathing will bring you deeper and deeper into your practice.
And look into the dark space behind your closed eyes.
Look into your eyelids.
And you see the vast expanse of infinite consciousness,
Infinite beingness.
And from this perspective,
Look down into your body,
Into the subtle body,
Into your chakras.
Take your awareness down to Muladhara.
Move your awareness to the point of the perineum.
Center your whole awareness at that pressure point.
Try to feel a pulse beat or a sensation.
Feel or imagine that you're breathing in and out through this pressure point,
Through the perineum.
Feel the breath moving through the perineal body.
And your mind and your breath is piercing the point of Muladhara chakra.
Move your awareness with a steady rhythm of the natural breath.
And experience Muladhara being pierced with every inhalation and exhalation.
Your awareness moving with your breath.
Do not allow your attention to dissipate.
Continue with this practice,
Integrating the mental repetition of the mantra Aum.
With each breath,
As you inhale,
Repeat Aum and feel the vibration moving upward with the breath and piercing the Muladhara chakra.
As you exhale again,
Repeat Aum and feel the vibration moving downward with the breath.
Experience the mantra Aum as it moves in and out through Muladhara chakra.
Feel that you are purifying and opening the Muladhara chakra with the movement of the breath and mantra.
Move your awareness up to Svadhisthana.
About two to three centimeters higher.
Center your awareness at the pubic bone,
In the front of the body.
Hold your awareness at this point and become aware of the pulse beat.
Moving your awareness in a straight line back to the coccyx bone,
At the base of the spine.
Hold your awareness here for a few moments.
And two,
If you can notice a pulse beat at this point.
Become aware of your breath.
Bringing your awareness of the breath down to the pelvic region.
Imagine that you're breathing in and out through this area.
As you inhale,
The breath enters the pubic area and moves straight back to the coccyx.
And as you exhale,
The breath moves forward again from the coccyx to the pubic bone.
Create a psychic pathway with the movement of your awareness and breath between the front and the back of the body.
Feel that you are connecting the front and the back,
Connecting these two points with your breath and awareness.
With the inhalation,
Feel the pelvic area expanding and the awareness and breath moving from the front of the chakra to the back.
With the exhalation,
Feel the pelvic area contracting and the awareness and the breath moving from the back to the front.
With each inhalation,
Feel the pelvic area expanding and the awareness and breath moving from the front of the body to the back.
With the exhalation,
Feel the pelvic area contracting and the awareness and the breath moving from the back to the front.
Feel the breath becoming finer and finer so that it pierces the Svadhisthana chakra.
Again we add the mental repetition of Aum to the practice.
As you inhale,
Mentally repeating the mantra Aum,
Feel the vibration moving from the front to the back.
And as you exhale,
Repeat the mantra Aum and feel the vibration moving from the back to the front.
Experience the mantra and the breath moving in the psychic passage.
Intensify your awareness of this movement through the psychic pathway.
Feel and imagine that the mantra and breath are purifying and opening the Svadhisthana chakra.
Leave the awareness of Svadhisthana chakra.
Feel your meditation posture.
If you need to adjust anything or realign,
Check that you are relaxed,
Aligned and comfortable.
And now bring your awareness to the navel,
Manipura chakra.
Intensify your awareness of the navel.
Is there a pulse beat in this area?
Move your awareness in a straight line back to the spine.
Hold your awareness in the spine on this level.
Try to feel the pulse beat at this point.
Feeling the gentle expansion and contraction of the abdomen with the breath.
Imagine that you are breathing in and out through this area.
As you inhale,
The breath enters through the navel and travels straight back to the spine.
As you exhale,
The breath travels forward from the back to the front again.
Continue in this way,
Moving the awareness from the breath between these two points.
With the inhalation,
Feel the abdomen expanding and the breath moving straight back.
And with the exhalation,
Feel the navel.
And with the exhalation,
Feel the abdomen contracting and the breath moving from the back to the front.
Creating your psychic pathway between these two points with the movement of your breath.
See the psychic passage clearly.
Become aware of the breath becoming finer and finer,
Piercing the chakra.
When the movement becomes spontaneous and effortless,
Then add the mental repetition of the mantra Aum.
While inhaling,
The mantra moves with the breath from the front to the back.
And with the exhalation,
The mantra moves forward from the back to the front.
Try to experience the mantra and the breath moving in the psychic passage.
Intensify your awareness of the vibration of the mantra.
And feel that the mantra and the breath are purifying and opening the Manipur chakra.
Leave your awareness of Manipur.
And move your awareness to the chest.
Become aware of the area contained within the ribcage.
Centering your awareness at the sternum in the front of the heart.
Intensify your awareness at this point.
Feel it pulsating in rhythm with your heartbeat.
Then move your awareness in a straight line back to the spine,
Between your shoulder blades.
Center your attention there and become aware of a pulsation,
Also in the rhythm of your heartbeat.
Noticing your natural breath.
And feel the expansion and contraction of the chest as you breathe.
Imagine that you are breathing in and out through the chest.
As you inhale,
The breath enters the body.
At the sternum.
And moves in a straight line back to the spine.
And as you exhale,
The breath moves forward,
Back to the sternum.
The chest expanding with inhalation.
And contracting with exhalation.
Follow the movement of the breath with complete awareness.
Become aware of the psychic passage between these two points.
And feel that the breath becoming finer and finer,
Moving through the psychic passage.
Now add the mental repetition of the mantra Aum to the movement of the breath.

Move your awareness straight back to the spine.
Holding your attention at this point,
Can you feel a pulsation there?
Again moving with your natural spontaneous breath.
Feel that you are breathing in and out through the throat.
On the inhalation,
Moving straight back to the back of the neck.
And the breath moving from the back to the front with your exhalation.
Feel the gentle expansion and contraction of the throat area with each inhalation and exhalation.
Expansion on the inhalation,
As the breath moves to the back.
And a contraction on the exhalation,
As the breath moves to the front.
Experience the movement of breath in the psychic pathway.
Intensify,
Create an incredibly strong powerful passageway.
Be aware of the breath piercing the Vishuddhi Chakra.
Allow your whole awareness to move with the breath through the psychic passage.

Center your whole awareness at this point.
And try to feel the rhythmic pulsation at the eyebrow center.
Intensify your awareness of the pulsation at this point.
Move your awareness straight back to the middle of the head.
Hold your awareness at this point and feel the pulsation there.
Become aware of the natural breath.
Imagine that you are breathing in and out between these two points.
The breath entering in the center of your forehead.

Just above the spine.
The top of the spine.
