Get yourself cozy,
Comfy,
Sit relatively upright and take a few deep breaths.
Thank yourself for giving yourself time and space today to come and sit down.
And I want you to put your arms around yourself.
Rub your upper arms gently.
With love,
Give yourself a big hug.
Imagine that you're holding somebody very precious and dear to you because you are in fact very precious and dear.
While you're holding yourself tightly,
I'm going to give you 10 affirmations.
You can repeat them out loud or in your head or you can just let my voice carry the vibration through your body.
I am worthy of love,
Respect and happiness.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I choose to focus on my strengths and positive qualities.
I am proud of who I am and all that I have accomplished.
I treat myself with kindness,
Compassion and understanding.
I am deserving of success and abundance in all areas of my life.
I am confident in my decisions and trust my inner wisdom.
I embrace my unique qualities and celebrate my individuality.
I am resilient and capable of overcoming challenges.
I am enough just as I am and I love and accept myself unconditionally.
Give yourself an extra squeeze and then unwrap your arms when you're ready and remember the truth of each one of these statements as you go about your day.
Maybe write one on a sticky note and put it somewhere you'll see it often or make it your phone lock screen and remember you can come back to this meditation anytime you feel the need to.
