Welcome to this meditation.
On opening up to abundance through trust and letting go of how.
So settle in.
And allow yourself to arrive here.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your body be supported,
Whether you're sitting or lying.
Let your muscles relax and be held here.
And allow yourself to breathe into any of those.
Tight or achy places.
Feel the relief of just being still with nowhere else to go,
Nothing else to do right now.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable.
And just at your own pace,
Breathe.
And today,
Let's think about one of the most common normal places where we accidentally block what it is that we want.
And it's not about whether we believe we can have it.
It's about how we hold on too tightly to the how of it arriving.
When we decide.
It has to come via this opportunity.
Or this person,
Or.
.
.
In this particular way.
And when that root doesn't open up the way we foresaw it.
It can feel like the whole thing has failed.
But the universe and life tend to work through unexpected ways and doors.
So,
Hold in your mind now something that you're hoping for.
Just hold it gently in your awareness.
And try not to think about what you want it to look like.
Or the route you've imagined it taking.
But just feel into the essence of it.
How you want to feel when it arrives.
And as you're feeling into that essence.
Imagine for a moment releasing the how of how it got to you.
Of still holding the essence of what it is.
And you're still holding the why,
It matters to you.
But just release the how.
Imagine holding your desire in open hands rather than closed fists.
It's still there.
It hasn't gone just because you've released your hands.
But you're not white-knuckling the root anymore.
So take some steady,
Long breaths.
At your own pace.
But breathe in long and slow.
Let yourself feel the weight of that desire,
That thing that you're really looking forward to.
And as you breathe out Just release your grip.
Just that it's with you.
Without you holding it.
And breathe in and gather possibility.
Be open to any way it could come to you.
And when you breathe out,
Just release that need to control it.
It's very natural.
Try and control something.
When it matters so much.
So that's why this is a practice,
Just As we breathe out just try and release it.
A little more every time.
Breathe in the trust.
And breathe out,
Release.
I'm going to say some words for you for the part of you that grips tight.
So just let them learn.
See if they can loosen something.
If you feel moved too,
You can say them out loud,
Say them in your head after me.
Or you can simply let my voice carry the words into your energy field.
I release the need to know how.
There are roots to my desire that I have not yet imagined.
Life is more creative than my plans.
I hold my intentions loosely with trust.
I let go of the path and stay clear on the destination.
Unexpected doors opened for me.
I am open to receiving in ways I cannot predict.
I trust what I cannot control.
I let go of how.
You do not need to figure out the route.
Your only job is to stay open.
And keep moving.
And the how is not yours to carry.
So take a breath.
And let it go.
Feel the essence of your desire just sitting with you.
Unfolding in its own time.
When you're ready,
Come back slowly.
Bringing that relief with you.
Of having let go.
Come back whenever you need to.
