Sitting comfortably,

Allowing your spine to lengthen and your breath to soften.

Close your eyes and place your hands gently in gassho at your heart.

Breathe deeply and allow your awareness to drop into stillness as we anchor into the five Reiki precepts,

Guiding lights to help us live with gratitude,

Clarity and compassion.

Just for today,

Be present in this moment.

Only this breath.

Only this stillness.

Just for today.

Do not anger.

If emotions arise,

Allow them to pass by like clouds floating across the sky.

Release the past.

Accept what is and what is not.

Welcome healing,

Peace and light.

Allow yourself to move forward.

Just for today.

Do not worry.

Trust the rhythm of life.

The universe holds you.

The future will unfold exactly as it should.

Be present,

Release worry and rest in trust.

Just for today.

Be grateful.

Let your heart expand with thankfulness.

For all that you have.

All that you are.

And all that is yet to come.

Feel this gratitude radiate throughout every cell of your being.

Whatever you do,
