Welcome,

Dear one.

As we enter the season of spring,

I invite you to reflect with me on the wisdom of nature.

In a moment,

You'll be guided through a beautiful visualization,

Instilling a sense of hope and promise.

I invite you to join me now,

Settling into a place of rest,

Allowing your body to sink deeper into whatever you're resting on,

Feeling fully supported,

Connected,

And peaceful.

Close your eyes if it feels comfortable.

Take three deep breaths,

One,

Breathing in the fullness of life and breathing out all negativity,

Two,

Inhaling the oxygen your body needs to heal and grow,

And exhaling any tension,

What is no longer needed,

And three,

Bringing in a new narrative of hope and breathing out outdated stories that it's time to release.

With each deeply relaxing breath that follows,

Feel yourself sink deeper and deeper into a restful place,

Deeper and deeper into a state of calm.

Feel the breath flow through you gently like water over rocks.

Picture a babbling brook,

And the sound of that water eases all your cares as it flows from your head all the way to your toes.

Feel a cool relaxation cover you now.

With your body in this relaxed state,

I invite you into your imagination,

Connecting with your creative core.

Journey with me now.

Imagine yourself walking barefoot through richly green pastures.

Feel the soft grass like a lush carpet beneath you.

The morning sun shines with its gentle presence,

Awakening new life all around you.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,

Bringing you new energy as you walk through this peaceful place.

Smell the freshness in the air,

The smell of morning dew gently bringing new growth to life.

Notice that dew sparkling all around you,

Glimmering in the light.

The air is at the perfect temperature.

You feel so very peaceful in this place.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs fully and completely.

Feel a sense of rightness and contentment fill you right now.

As you walk in this peaceful place,

You notice around you a garden prepared for spring.

The soil has been raked bare to prepare for new growth.

You see a pile of old brush,

Twigs and leaves in a corner in the garden.

As you observe this pile cleared aside,

Reflect on what you need to clear away in your own heart.

What outdated stories or narratives need to be let go of?

What hurts need to be healed in you?

What do you want to be free from?

Allow a divine presence to shed light into your mind,

Heart and spirit right now.

Know that you are safe as you remember and consider these things.

Again,

Feel the warmth of that sun as a constant guiding and supporting presence.

Even if dark things come to your mind,

You are here in this safe place filled with light.

They come to mind so that you can release and let them go.

They are not your present.

You are safe right here.

Gaze now back to the freshly prepared soil.

While it still appears asleep,

You know that potential is there.

New life lies just below the surface.

It has been patiently waiting for just the right time.

Feel a great anticipation grow in you.

Indeed,

Something is about to spring forth.

Listen to your spirit as you reflect on what you are awaiting in your life in this season.

What new things are you hoping for?

Ask for those things now.

Name them out loud.

Be filled with the hope of these good things,

These deep desires.

Feel those desires being held with care,

With honor.

Your needs are important,

Valuable.

You will have everything you need just when you need it.

As that truth settles into your heart,

You find yourself drawn to a section of the garden that seems to have the richest soil.

Great care has been taken here.

Kneel down to observe this particular spot,

Bursting with hope and promise.

Observe the soil being warmed by the light of the sun.

Feel the life and energy that stirs here.

Suddenly,

You notice something beginning to grow,

A tiny new shoot.

Watch how it springs forth and spins toward the light.

It moves at an accelerated rate,

As if it has been set to a time lapse.

As you watch it grow and grow,

Feel hope welling up in you.

This hope and excitement for new growth washes away all despair.

This shoot,

While it began small and fragile,

Contains the very blueprints of life.

It has everything it needs to grow.

And it grows and grows,

Getting bigger and stronger with each passing moment.

Reflect on the ways you are growing.

Note any progress you've made.

However small or incremental,

It is all important and all good.

Allow yourself to begin transforming your perspective on your own growth,

Your progress,

Your achievement,

And where you're heading.

Look with new eyes on your life to date and your life to come.

Feel gratitude well up in you for all the good that has been revealed through this time.

It's time to journey back from this inward time in your imagination.

You can come back to the here and now,

Or,

If you would like,

You may drift off to a peaceful night's sleep.

As you take a deep breath in and exhale,

You may end this practice.

Be well,

Dear one.
