Welcome to this safe space,
A place for you to land.
No expectations,
Nothing to do or achieve,
Just be here in this moment.
Knowing that you are held.
So let the body soften in that knowing.
Now let's take three deep breaths together.
You may have had a lot on your mind recently.
Many things,
Life pulling you this way and that way.
But I want you to know that this moment,
In this moment,
None of that matters.
So just take another deep breath.
And on the exhale,
Really let that land in your body.
We're just going to work with the breath here.
Very simply.
And we take a nice big inhale.
And on the exhale,
We're going to let everything go.
All the holding,
The overwhelm.
Just let it go with the out-breath.
And in this moment,
There is nothing to do.
Know that this place,
This place you can access at any time.
A place beyond the noise of the external world.
This is your safe space.
And you access it by tuning into the breath.
Intentionally.
No one can take this from you.
And now perhaps placing a hand on the heart.
Take another in-breath here.
And you may want to repeat these affirmations silently.
This is my safe space.
This is where my body rests.
This is mine.
No one can take this from me.
And just let those words land in your body.
These moments of calm help to reset the nervous system.
And this pause before we go about our day helps us to be in the world.
From a more grounded place.
And this space you can return to at any time throughout the day.
This is yours.
Your internal pause.
So just taking a few more deep breaths.
And if you still have your hand on your heart.
Maybe just giving that area a gentle rub.
And now when you feel ready,
Just gently opening the eyes.
