Welcome to Freebird Meditations and welcome to the 30-day meditation challenge.

So happy and proud of you for doing this and I really want to commend you for your interest and effort.

This is a huge step towards wellness and peace and it's going to be an amazing journey for you.

So this meditation is a tool that you can use during your challenge.

Now the goal of your challenge of course is to just meditate every day for 30 days.

You can use this track or others or you might eventually even want to meditate in silence.

You can meditate for 5 minutes or 60.

It doesn't matter as long as you just commit to doing it and witness the journey and experience it for yourself.

Be patient with yourself though and be gentle.

Allow the journey to naturally unfold as it will.

We know that meditation is a truly powerful tool.

It's been used for centuries and is even backed by modern science.

But the main goal of meditation is to just achieve healthier levels of awareness in our mind,

In our bodies and our soul.

When this finally happens we can become so much more relaxed and chill,

More focused,

More positively engaged with ourselves and others and the world around us.

We can become our best selves and we can let our light shine,

Experience joy and most importantly experience true freedom.

Now when you begin to experience this,

This sense of peace,

Please share it with the world,

Share it with your friends,

The people that you love,

Share it even with strangers.

We know that this world is in a very precarious place.

There's a lot of hurt,

So much distraction,

So much confusion,

So much disengagement and it's not supposed to be like this.

You know it,

I know it.

So perhaps one way we can help this is by just becoming more present,

More in tune,

More in love with life and the world around us and getting rid of all of the distractions that serve us no longer.

So it's time to wake up and time to be free.

Again so happy that you're here.

Let's begin your journey.

Welcome to this general guided meditation for focus,

Clarity,

And peace.

Peace and clarity and relaxation.

By engaging in meditation,

You will develop inner tools to help yourself obtain a sense of stillness and help you achieve deeper levels of awareness.

Know that meditation is truly a process and during this process,

Things could come up for you,

Feelings,

Thoughts,

Sensations.

Either way,

This is normal and okay.

You will learn to work with and allow these manifestations to come and go and with time,

You will become more skilled at doing this and it will even impact your daily life.

While dealing with the mind can also be something that certainly comes up during meditation.

This of course is natural.

We're not trying to stop our thinking,

But really to just have less attachment to our thoughts and allow them to come and go almost like clouds just floating by in the sky.

All you have to do during this meditation is just notice,

Hey,

I'm thinking again and simply redirect your attention to your breath into one of the mantras or phrases that we will be using.

With this meditation,

I will gently guide you at the beginning and then allow and encourage you to begin directing your own meditation.

So continuing further now,

Find yourself in a comfortable,

Settled in position and in a place where you are as free as you can be from any distractions.

Begin to turn your attention inward.

Allow yourself,

Your mind,

Your body and your heart to settle in and begin to close your eyes.

Upon doing this,

Take just a moment to set a positive intention for yourself for this meditation.

Whatever you choose it to be,

This will be your anchor and safe harbor.

Now observing your breath,

Take a few long,

Deep,

Comfortable breaths.

And when you exhale,

Allow and imagine that your beautiful breath is slowing you down,

Grounding you,

Centering you.

Connect with this comfortable,

Lovely feeling that your breath produces when you do this.

Now gently scan your body for any areas of tension,

Whether they be physical or emotional.

Just notice.

Wherever you find,

Simply direct your breath to it.

And imagine that it is simply washing through the tension and allowing it to loosen its hold.

And you are breathing and relaxing.

Remember that your breath is one of the most powerful tools that you have and you can use it at any time.

And it will always guide you back to where you need to be.

And you will always be present.

Now let's take a special moment to just release your day.

Perhaps the time that you spend leading up to this meditation and what you plan to do afterwards.

Really,

At this specific moment,

This stuff doesn't matter right now because this moment is simply for your meditation practice.

And you will begin to make this a priority over time.

So allow all the things that came and went to just dissolve away into what seems like a white,

Blurry space.

This can be difficult,

I know,

But you will get better at it.

So let it go.

Release it.

Set it free.

Breathe in.

So for the rest of this meditation,

I'm going to introduce a series of mantras or phrases.

Your goal is to repeat these phrases in your mind over and over at whichever pace you choose.

Allow breathing calmly,

Gently,

Peacefully.

Each mantra will be for a few minutes and then I will introduce the next until they are all complete.

So the three mantras that I'll be introducing are I am still,

I am peace,

And I am free.

Now for some reason these don't work for you,

You can certainly make up your own,

But again just focus on them and breathe.

If your mind wanders off simply breathe and redirect yourself.

Remember that this is a practice.

The positive effects it will have on your overall level of being will make themselves known in time.

So let's begin with our first mantra which is I am still,

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

So keep repeating this in your mind while breathing.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

Our next mantra is I am peace,

I am peace,

I am peace,

I am peace.

Again,

Repeat this in your mind while breathing and connecting.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

Our final mantra is,

I am free,

I am free,

I am free,

I am free.

Again,

Repeat in your mind,

Breathing and connecting.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

I am still,

I am still,

I am still.

You are feeling so relaxed now.

So much more relaxed than before.

You know that in doing this meditation,

You have done a very positive thing for yourself.

With this practice and this training,

You will be able to help yourself become more present,

More focused and at a healthier level of mind.

I hope that you have noticed the things that came up for you during this meditation.

Be sure to just note them and just work with them,

Not against them.

Again,

This is a practice and you will get better at it each and every time you do this.

Again,

So proud of you for taking the challenge to meditate every day for 30 days.

This is a wonderful journey for you.

So now,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to this moment,

This time and this space.

Take a moment to just absorb the feelings and the sensations that you have created for yourself.

Relaxed and present,

Know that you'll be able to take this now into your everyday waking life from now on.

Thank you so much for doing this meditation again.

Now take this peace with you out into the world and share it with others.

And always remember,

Be well,

Be happy and be free.

See communities and people around you.

I’m starting this journey - I am hungry for change. I need substance that leads to action that leads to habits that will replace old habits that will lead to change.

Nice medication especially for beginners. Might be a little long when first starting but amazing how fast the time goes. I love the soothing music in the background. Good mantras to focus on. Thank you.
