Welcome to your grounding meditation practice.
This is Fran Chandler.
I'm going to invite you to find a comfortable position.
You could either be seated or lying down and let your hands rest softly,
Your palms facing down.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Allow your body to settle,
Your breath slows,
Your awareness anchors in the present moment.
With each inhale,
Feel yourself arriving.
With each exhale,
Let go of anything you no longer need.
Now imagine yourself as a tall ancient mountain.
Your base is wide and rooted deep into the earth.
Solid,
Stable,
Strong.
Your spine forms the central ridge,
Unshakable and steady.
Your crown rises high into the open sky.
Around you life lives.
Evergreen trees cling to your slopes,
Streams sparkle in sunlight,
Birds glide through open air,
And the wind moves gently across your surface.
You are both strength and stillness.
Part of the earth,
Part of the sky.
Simply breathe into your grounded presence.
In spring,
Gentle rain falls and life awakens.
Fresh streams flow,
Carrying renewal and possibility.
In summer,
Sunlight warms your surface,
Flowers bloom,
And vibrant energy surrounds you.
In autumn,
Leaves turn and fall,
A graceful letting go.
You breathe with the winds of change,
Trusting the rhythm of release.
In winter,
Stillness settles in.
Snow softens your peaks,
Storms come and pass,
And through it all,
You remain calm and steady.
Each season offers beauty and challenge,
Yet your foundation never wavers.
You witness it all with quiet strength.
Now turn inward.
Feel the stillness at your core.
A deep,
Quiet strength beneath life's changing weather.
No matter what comes,
Joy or difficulty,
Light or storm,
This inner mountain remains.
Silently repeat,
I am steady.
I am grounded.
I am at peace through change.
I trust the storms.
I trust the seasons.
I trust myself.
Breathe deeply into that truth.
You are the mountain.
Timeless,
Calm,
And unshakable.
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back into your body.
Feel the support beneath you.
Feel the ground holding you steady.
Breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.
Carry this mountain energy with you.
Rooted,
Calm,
And strong through every season and every storm.
