Farrah Theresa Schwab

Farrah Theresa is a poet, musician, eco-therapeutic nature guide, and community organizer. She has 20+ years of experience with creative writing and 18+ years exploring different meditation modalities from guided visual meditations to vipassana techniques to pranayama and somatic experiential meditations through dance, with the more-than-human-world (nature) and other movement modalities. Farrah started her journey studying social anthropology in South Africa where she was born and went on to do a post-graduate in medical anthropology with an interest in the profundity of movement as language. Her love for investigating the depths of the human experience led her to work in documentary film which guided her towards environmental movements across the globe. An ancestrally green thumb she took to studying and immersing herself in permaculture studies in Thailand, Malaysia, and South Africa which led her to lead an urban-greening-reforestation program in Cape Town, South Africa. Eventually, her shared citizenship with Canada took her to Squamish, BC where she deepened her reverence and experiences with the ocean, mountains, rainforests, and more and thus came to a collected ability to be a direct channel for guided meditations that aim to assist in healing the divide with the earth and each other, reminding us that we are interconnected in short, an extension of the heartbeat of the planet. A lyrical poet, she weaves her wisdom into profound morsels of healing for all.
