Fabiano Gentile

For ten years, Fabiano was a Buddhist Monk at the renowned Plum Village Monastery, a disciple of the Zen Master Thich Nhất Hạnh. In 2024, he felt a powerful calling to step outside the monastery walls and share the profound practices and experience accumulated over ten years in the monastery. After leaving, he spent several months in Italy, supporting a local community in the successful establishment of a new practice center. He is now based in Kenya, where he is dedicated to founding a new practice center, "Pumua Village," and building a thriving community of practitioners. His mission here is to bring the practice of mindful living to this beautiful land, creating a safe refuge where people can find peace, pause, and begin healing the suffering carried in their hearts.
