Hello and welcome.
I'm Emily Hayden and I'm so glad you're here beginning your day in this way.
Before the noise of the world arrives,
Before the messages and the to-do lists and the demands on your attention,
You've chosen to give this time to yourself and that choice alone is a beautiful act of self-love,
Self-care.
So take a moment now to settle.
You can be sitting or lying down propped up with lovely pillows.
There's no wrong way to receive this.
Just allow your body to soften into whatever surface is supporting you right now.
And let your eyes close gently.
Just taking a slow deep breath in through your nose when you're ready and a long soft breath out through your mouth.
Release.
Again breathing in slowly through your nose and sighing it out through your mouth.
And one more time drawing the breath all the way down into your belly as you breathe in and as you exhale release.
And now just bring in your awareness to the very top of your head.
Just noticing it,
The crown of your head.
And just imagine now a soft warm golden light beginning to gather there.
The color of early morning sun,
Gentle,
Golden,
Kind.
And let that warmth begin to move slowly down across your forehead,
Softening the space between your eyebrows,
Letting your jaw release and clench.
Allow your tongue to rest softly behind your teeth and that light moves down through your throat,
Opening,
Softening down across your shoulders.
Feel them dropping away from your ears,
Just letting them,
Allowing them to be heavy.
As that warm golden light now moves down through your arms,
Into your elbows,
Your wrists,
Your hands,
Your fingers,
Gently uncurling,
Letting go.
And notice now as that warmth settles in your chest,
Right around your heart.
And as it does,
Your breathing slows just a little more,
Your heart rate begins to settle down.
And this is your nervous system shifting,
Moving out of any leftover tension from sleep,
Out of any anticipation of the day ahead,
Into a state of safety and presence,
A state where your body knows it can rest,
It is safe to rest.
As that light continues to move down now,
Softening your belly,
Releasing your lower back,
Spreading down through your hips,
Your thighs,
Behind your knees,
And then further down through your calves,
Your ankles,
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
Your whole body bathed in this warm golden light,
Whole body golden.
And just breathe here for a moment,
Letting the body be exactly as it is.
And as you rest in this place,
I want you to know something so important.
The first 30 minutes of your day are sacred,
They're yours.
Just after waking your brain is operating in a slower,
More receptive state.
The thinking mind hasn't fully come online yet,
The inner critic is quiet,
The defenses are down.
So the words you hear,
The words you give to yourself now,
The energy you choose to carry,
The truths you decide to plant in this soil,
They take root deeply.
They shake the lens through which you'll see the entire day ahead.
So this is not a small thing we're doing together,
This is you choosing what gets to grow today.
And every word I'm about to offer,
Just let it land.
You don't have to force it in,
You don't have to make yourself believe anything.
Just imagine these words like seeds and trust that some part of you,
The wisest part of you,
Already knows they're true.
And I'm going to invite you to repeat each one silently in your own mind.
And as you do,
Let your body respond.
Maybe a soft smile,
Maybe a deeper breath.
Maybe they create a small lift of energy in your chest.
Whatever arises,
Let it.
So now we begin with safety.

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

And when you're ready take one more deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale let a sound come out make it audible a sigh and oh whatever needs to be released right now.
And before you fully open your eyes today I want you to remember something.
What you've just done.
This is a gift you've given yourself.
You have planted seeds of safety,
Abundance,
Mindset and confidence and most importantly love into the most fertile soil of your day.
These words are now woven into how you move,

How you'll see your day ahead,
