Welcome.
Today's session is focused on embodied intention.
Once you've decided you want to cultivate something new in your life,
It can be anything.
A more mindful way of being,
A project,
A craft,
A trip you want to plan.
What is the next step?
Connecting to our intentions goes far beyond a singular moment in time.
To embody your intention fully,
You must nurture and create sustenance for it.
Naming your desire is the start of letting it grow.
Building relationship with your intention is where you get to learn and infuse it into your way of being.
The relationship you build will give you the opportunity to understand what environment this particular intention needs to thrive.
Each intention that we use in our lives will require something different.
And it is up to us to learn how we can create the best environment possible for it to grow.
Let's tune in to discover your intention today.
Find a comfortable seated position.
When you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a few deep,
Steady breaths to ground you in this space.
Notice any sensations that arise here today.
If you need to move or shift in any way.
Allow the body to release tension as it needs to.
And when you're ready,
Return to stillness.
Begin to notice the thoughts moving through your mind.
Notice them without engaging or judging.
Allow the pace of the thoughts to slow down.
Now start to open a conversation with your heart.
Ask your heart.
What do you desire most?
Simply allow an answer to rise.
There is no rush in this process.
Let your heart communicate with you.
What do you desire most right now?
It might arrive in the form of an affirmation or one single word.
Strength.
Gratitude.
Peace.
Abundance.
Purpose.
Courage.
Choose one that feels strongest as your intention today.
Anytime your mind drifts.
Return to your intention.
Allow it to shine bright in the forefront of your mind.
Begin to ask yourself what you need to release in order to make more room for your intention.
Let it come to life without attachment to what it looks like.
What do you need to cultivate for this intention to grow?
Notice if the shine starts to dim as you repeat your intention.
Try not to let it become something so familiar.
That you walk by it every day without even noticing.
Repeating your intention with conviction is like polishing it.
Let it remain shimmering and bright.
Settle further into this intention as if it were new at every moment.
I'll mind the time.
Each time you interact with your intention.
Pause.
Be with it.
Build relationship with it.
Let it live in your body.
In your breath.
In all your senses.
When you're ready.
Return your awareness to your breath.
And release the focused awareness and repetition of your intention.
Allow your eyes to open.
And invite your surroundings back in.
To continue to embody your intention fully.
I invite you to pause with it every single day.
Write it down,
And place it somewhere that you'll see often.
Each time you see it,
Pick it up in your mind with the same enthusiasm you had when you first planted the seed.
May you always let intention be your guide.
Today and every day.
Namaste.
