Devoted to creation,
Devotion.
Come in,
Welcome.
Take a moment and find a comfortable position for your body.
Now gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking a big,
Slow,
Deep inhale.
And a long,
Steady exhale.
Today's meditation is about devotion.
Devotion is not pressure,
And it's not quite discipline either.
Devotion is love in motion.
As your body settles in here,
Let's bring your awareness back to your breath.
Allow yourself to feel its rhythm as it slowly rises and falls.
Let's take an inhale here,
Breathing in through your nose.
And let's exhale.
Your breath has been devoted to you your entire life,
Without applause,
Without recognition,
Just a steady presence that keeps you going and helps you to be fully expressed.
I'd like for you to bring to mind here something you are creating right now.
Perhaps it's healing in your life or growth.
Maybe it's a relationship or even a new next chapter.
See it clearly here.
Now what happens when you tend to it gently each day?
Not rushing,
Not forcing,
Just consistent care.
Just consistent care,
Like watering your plants or returning to the canvas.
As you continue to ground even more deeply into your own beautiful body,
Notice for a moment,
What does steady devotion feel like inside?
Is it warm,
Grounded,
Calm?
This may even be a completely new feeling.
Notice what devotion feels like and slowly allow it to grow within you here.
And as you continue to breathe in and out slowly,
Place both hands,
One on top of the other,
Right over your heart.
Notice its placement.
Notice the firmness or the presence of your touch.
And take another breath.
Silently repeat,
My discipline is chosen devotion.
My devotion is love in motion.
Devotion builds self-trust.
Self-trust builds mastery.
Mastery unfolds over time.
You are not chasing perfection.
You are participating with your becoming.
We'll hold silence here.
And when it's time,
I'll gently bring you back in.
Now,
Start to take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Imagine warmth spreading through your chest,
Into your shoulders and down your arms,
Into your belly,
Into your legs.
Silently repeating,
I am worthy of my own consistency.
I am worthy of my own care.
I am worthy of my devotion.
Presence prepares you.
Intention directs you.
Devotion sustains you.
As we begin to move back into our day and lives,
Let's take three slow breaths together here.
Beginning your inhale.
And exhale.
And slow exhale.
Deep breath in.
And another deep full body breath,
Slowly moving in.
Begin to gently sway your body here.
Coming back to the present moment.
You can gently wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Take slow time returning here.
And now,
Softly open your eyes and say with me,
I am devoted to creation.
I am devoted to creation.
I am devoted to creation.
Namaste.
