Taking this time to step out of the pace of thinking and into a space of awareness.
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to settle,
Just as you are,
And gently begin by noticing the breath,
The steady rhythm already here,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And now,
Begin to notice the mind,
Thoughts arising,
Moving,
Shifting,
Try not to stop them,
Just observing,
And if it feels right,
Allow the exhale to lengthen slightly,
Letting the breath slow down,
And as the breath slows,
The mind may begin to follow,
Not instantly,
But gradually,
And then gently returning again,
To the breath,
To the inhale,
And the exhale,
And if thoughts continue,
That's completely okay,
Just noticing and returning,
Again and again,
And as you stay here,
You may begin to sense a little more space,
A little more quiet,
And if it feels comfortable,
Rest your attention there,
Even briefly,
And then again,
Returning to the breath,
Letting it anchor you,
Letting it slow the rhythm,
And for the next few moments,
Just remain here,
Breathing,
Observing,
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
Not needing it to be different,
Just acknowledging what's here,
And as you move into the rest of your day,
See if you can carry even a small part of this,
This clarity,
This space,
This calm,
With you,
And remember,
You can return to this at any time,
With a single breath,
