Welcome to this meditation to prepare you for deep dreaming.

This is your time to rest,

To release the weight of the day,

And to drift into the quiet magic of the night.

Find your most comfortable position.

Take any final movements you need to make yourself even 1% more comfortable and relaxed.

Let your body soften into the surface beneath you.

Feel the gentle pull of gravity holding you close to the earth.

The day is done.

There is nothing more to do,

Nowhere to be.

Only this moment of stillness.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And sigh it out your mouth.

Again,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

Once more,

Take in your deepest breath,

Holding this one at the top,

Maybe taking in an extra little sip of air,

Stretching your lungs,

And release.

Now shift your breath in and out of your nose,

Gently sealing your lips.

Slow and steady.

With every breath in,

Feel yourself gather calm.

With every breath out,

Release what you no longer need.

Inhale a cool silvery light.

Exhale tension melting away.

Let your breath become a tide.

Effortless,

Rhythmic,

Peaceful.

Now bring your awareness to the bottoms of your feet.

Imagine warm waves of relaxation flowing up from the soles,

Through your ankles,

Your calves,

Your knees.

Each muscle softening,

Unwinding.

Feel this relaxation rise through your thighs,

Your hips,

Your belly,

Your chest.

Your shoulders drop away from your ears.

Your arms rest heavy on the floor.

Your neck,

Your face,

Your eyelids,

All become heavy and serene.

Your whole body is resting,

Calm,

Grounded,

Safe.

Now imagine above you,

A night sky stretching wide and infinite.

Your entire being is drenched in moonlight.

Stars shimmer like quiet whispers of light.

You feel yourself floating beneath the sky,

Supported by the earth,

And surrounded by peace.

A soft breeze moves through the air,

And with it the energy of the dream world begins to awaken.

Each star above you holds a message,

A memory,

Or a symbol waiting to be discovered in your dreams.

In your heart,

Whisper a quiet intention.

Tonight,

I welcome my dreams.

I open to the wisdom and guidance they bring.

I will rest deeply,

Travel safely,

And remember what matters to me.

There is no need to force or control.

Simply allow your subconscious to unfold,

Like the petals of a night-blooming flower.

Now your thoughts begin to slow,

Like clouds moving across a calm night sky.

You are floating between worlds,

The waking world fading softly behind you,

And the dream realm opening before you.

Feel yourself being carried,

Weightless,

Timeless,

Wrapped in the gentle glow of moonlight.

Each breath carries you deeper,

Softer,

Quieter,

Until there is only stillness.

Rest now.

Sleep peacefully.

And when dreams come,

Let them whisper their magic into your soul.
