Taking responsibility for your life means accepting that your choices, not luck or other people, shape where you end up. It’s about dropping the excuses, owning your decisions, and recognizing that no one’s coming to fix things for you. The affirmations will remind you that you can make new choices and take responsibility for your life.

Hi,

This is Danielle,

And I have a soundbite for you on taking responsibility in your life.

These are some mantras that you can repeat to yourself or just listen to me.

I take full responsibility for everything about me,

Including my thoughts,

My actions,

My behavior.

I am control of me and my mind.

I'm responsible for what I do,

What I tell myself,

And what I believe about myself.

No one can share this responsibility with me.

I enjoy being responsible.

I'm in charge of being me,

And it's a challenge that I love taking on.

My choices are mine alone to make for myself.

I cannot change the past.

I am in control of my present and my future.

I always meet all of the obligations which I accept.

And I do not accept any obligation that I cannot meet.

I'm trustworthy.

People can count on me to live up to the trust and responsibility that is given to me.

I make no excuses,

And no one can make excuses for me.

I accept the responsibility for all of my actions,

My emotions,

My feelings,

My thoughts,

My attitudes,

And my behavior.

I accept the responsibility for living a life that fits for me.

A life that nurtures my talents,

My strengths,

My happiness,

My health,

My contentment,

And my enjoyment.

Because it is my life.
