Healing Heart Meditation Find a quiet,
Comfortable place where you can either lie down or sit up with your spine supported.
Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to how your body is making contact with the surface.
Allow yourself to feel rooted.
Now let's focus on your breath.
Become aware of your breath and just notice it.
Inhale gently through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Feel the calmness and how you feel rooted and supported and comforted with your breath.
And in your mind's eye,
Imagine that you are breathing in nourishing,
Healing energy.
And when you breathe out,
Imagine that you are exhaling any tension or stress or worries.
And repeat silently to yourself as you inhale,
I receive healing and as you exhale,
I let go of fear.
My heart is strong and healthy.
And then see if you can visualize a warm golden light gently surrounding your heart,
Comforting it and healing it.
Your heart is strong and it is healing with every breath.
Every cell in your body is working for you and each breath is reminding you how incredible your body is.
You may wish to thank your heart and your body for all that it does for you.
Every day it shows up.
Some days may be more painful than others,
But it continues to work for you.
Allow that gratitude to be felt in every part of your body.
Take in another breath.
Imagine that you are bringing in the healing energy and exhale any stress,
Tension or pain that you may feel.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And when you're ready,
Take another breath and slowly bring your attention back to the room.
Wiggle your toes,
Stretch your arms overhead and open your eyes.
And remember,
You can always come back to this place of healing and comfort anytime to feel the golden light for your heart.
