Welcome,

Sweet souls.

Welcome to your meditation practice designed to help you on your pelvic floor therapy journey.

Now,

This meditation is aimed at promoting relaxation,

Awareness,

And healing in your pelvic area.

You know,

Pelvic floor therapy is a really deeply personal and sometimes challenging and often long journey.

So taking the time to connect with your body and mind can be really helpful.

So let's begin by finding a quiet,

Comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Make sure that,

You know,

You won't be disturbed and you're comfortable.

And close your eyes.

And as always,

We begin to focus our attention on our breath.

We'll do some mindful breathing.

Take slow,

Deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

As you breathe,

Imagine the breath flowing down into your pelvic area.

And with each inhale,

Envision the area gently expanding.

And with each exhale,

Imagine it releasing the tension.

Now continue this,

Inhaling,

Envisioning the area gently expanding,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Imagine it releasing the tension.

Expand and release,

Expand and release.

Now let's bring our awareness to our pelvic floor.

Let's imagine a warm,

Healing light gently embracing this area.

Start at the top of your pelvic region and slowly move your attention downward.

And scan with your mind's eye,

Any tension,

Discomfort or areas that need attention.

If you find any tension,

Just acknowledge it without judgment and send your breath and the healing light to that spot.

Now,

We're going to repeat some affirmations and you may wish to say them silently or out loud.

I am in tune with my body.

I trust my body's ability to heal.

I release any tension and embrace relaxation.

My pelvic floor is strong and healthy.

Now imagine a warm,

Soothing energy spreading from your pelvic area to your entire body.

And visualize your muscles relaxing and releasing tension like a gentle flowing stream.

Picture this energy as a healing force,

Nurturing and restoring your pelvic floor.

Now come back to your breath and focus on the rise and fall of your abdomen.

And feel a sense of peace and tranquility with each cycle of breath.

Each breath is a healing force that travels through your body,

Nourishing every cell.

And take a moment to express gratitude for your body and its incredible ability to heal.

Thank your body for the progress you've made and the potential for the continued healing.

Allow yourself to just be,

Be in gratitude that you have this body that you're here right now.

Just breathe in,

Breathe out.

Now gently bring your awareness back to the present.

You may wish to wiggle your fingers and toes.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

And then take a moment to just reflect on the feelings and sensations you experienced.

You can practice this meditation as often as you like.

And remember that healing takes time.

It takes patience.

But your body has a remarkable capacity to recover and heal.

And remember to always stay connected to your breath.

It is such an important component on your pelvic floor therapy journey.
