Welcome to this guided meditation brought to you by Create the Calm.
If this experience resonates with you,
You're welcome to follow for future practices.
Now gently begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow your body to be supported.
Let yourself arrive without needing to adjust or improve anything.
Begin by noticing your breath just as it is.
No need to change it,
Just awareness.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
Let your breath settle you into this moment.
Now bring your awareness into your body.
Notice where you're supported,
Where you're held.
Let that support remind your system,
Nothing is required of you right now,
Only presence.
And now we begin a gentle process of release,
Using affirmations as anchors for awareness.
Allow something to come to mind,
An experience,
A pattern,
Or a situation that feels complete or no longer aligned.
You don't need to understand it,
Only recognize it.
Gently bring in the first affirmation.
This is something that no longer fits my life.
Now the next layer of awareness.
I don't need to know why it changed,
I only notice that it has.
Feel what arises in response.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to analyze,
Just noticing.
Now soften into the next release.
I release the need to hold on to this the same way I once did.
Pause.
Let your body respond without forcing it.
And now gently,
I release my attachment to who I was within this experience.
Notice that version of you with kindness.
They were doing what they knew how to do.
You're not rejecting them,
You're allowing them to rest.
And now the final layer of letting go.
I release the effort of trying to make this work the way it used to.
Let that soften in your body.
Let the striving ease.
And now for a few moments,
Simply breathe.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to continue.
Just space.
If anything else arises,
You can return to the affirmations gently and at your own pace.
This is no longer fitting.
I don't need to know why.
I release the holding.
I release the identity within it.
I release the effort.
Let each phrase be a soft doorway rather than a task.
Now imagine the breath moving through the space that is opened.
Not filling it,
Just passing through.
There's nothing that needs to replace what you've released.
Let life reorganize in its own time.
Stay here for a few breaths in this openness.
Inhale.
And exhale.
And exhale.
And now gently begin to return.
Awareness of the room.
Of the surface beneath you.
The simple fact of being here.
And when you're ready,
Carry this sense of openness with you.
Not as something to maintain,
But something you can return to.
There's nothing you need to force.
Nothing you need to hold.
Just presence.
Just this moment.
Just you.
