Evening Meditation.
Take a moment to get nice and comfortable,
Either seated or lying down.
The day is coming to a close and you have done enough.
Gently close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
We will begin with some deep inhales and exhales,
Inhaling for a count of 4 and exhaling for a count of 6,
Allowing our nervous system to settle and prepare for a deep restorative night's sleep.
Breathing in through the nose,

4,
Exhaling through the mouth,

3,
4,
5,
6.
Once more,
Breathing in through the nose,
2,
3,
4,
Exhaling,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Once more,
Breathing in through the mouth,
2,
3,
4,
Exhaling,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6.
Now just release the breath and allow your breathing to return to its natural ebb and flow.
With each out-breath,
Just allow yourself to melt a little bit more,
To release the day and just allow it to fall away.
Allow the shoulders to soften,
Give permission for any tension in the jaw to release,
Loosen any tightness in the belly,
Let the hips release,
Just let everything go and as you gently breathe in and out,
Just bring to mind any moments from today that may have felt heavy,
You may have had a tense conversation,
A misunderstanding or maybe something just didn't flow.
We don't need to relive these moments fully,
Just bringing them to the forefront of our mind so we can simply acknowledge them and as you acknowledge each of these moments with the out-breath,
Allow them to just be released,
To let go,
Silently say to yourself,
I let this go,
This doesn't belong in my night's rest and as you do this,
You feel yourself becoming lighter,
Becoming clearer,
Becoming freer.
Now bring to mind two or three good things from today,
These can be big or they can be small,
Maybe someone's kindness,
A moment of laughter or maybe a smile shared with a stranger.
Breathe into each moment and allow it to fill your heart and as you do this,
Say thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you and as you do this,
Let gratitude spread throughout your entire body.
This is how we complete the day,
Noticing the blessings,
Even those quiet ones.
Now imagine a golden light,
A soft and luminous golden light.
This light is beginning to wrap itself all around you.
This is the frequency of abundance and it's here to hold you as you sleep.
See this light forming a cocoon around your entire body.
This light feels safe and warm and so protective.
Within this cocoon,
Your whole system begins to recalibrate.
It releases old patterns of lack and it absorbs new codes of ease and flow.
Your energy body is being recoded to remember abundance as its natural state.
Throughout the night,
This golden frequency will continue to weave its way through you,
Restoring balance,
Upgrading your vibration and preparing you to wake tomorrow feeling renewed and aligned.
Now,
Silently repeat these affirmations to yourself.
I release the day with love and gratitude.
My body rests,
My energy renews.
I am cocooned in the frequency of abundance as I sleep.
I wake restored,
Upgraded and aligned with flow.
Now really allow the breath to become slower.
Really let your body sink into stillness.
And take one last big deep breath in.
Exhaling everything out with a sigh.
Silently repeat to yourself.
I am grateful for this day and I welcome a night of peaceful rest.
