This is a guided affirmation meditation practice focusing on the Root Chakra, translating to Grounding, Safety, and Security. This practice is brought to you as part of an intention and movement called ACommitmentToLove. So as part of my commitment to love, I am choosing to share these affirmations with you. Affirmations can be powerful tools to help shift our mindset and belief systems if we let them. The listener is introduced to the practice and then is guided through some mindful breath work. The affirmations are then introduced to the listener after grounding into the moment. The listener is then brought back to the present moment and reminded that you are enough and you can trust yourself. The beautiful background music is "Grace Of A Butterfly" courtesy of the wonderfully lovely Blossom Violet.

Hi friend!

Please welcome in.

My name is Caitlin.

Please get settled wherever you are in the world.

This practice can be done wherever you are,

However you are.

Meditation is such a personal practice and can be done in so many different ways.

So however you choose to receive this,

Thank you for being here today.

A friend and fellow Insight Timer teacher has brought up the idea of a commitment to love.

He asked what it means to you to really embody love and practice that embodiment and bring more love into the world.

I felt called to share my affirmations.

This practice today focuses on affirmations focusing on our root chakra,

Which is all about our security and grounding.

You do not need to know anything about the chakra system or even believe in any of that to participate in the following practice.

This is just how I have the affirmations grouped in my collection.

But the main themes we will be focusing on are security safety and grounding.

Anyway,

Before we get started,

I would like to remind you that if something does not resonate,

Please just leave it for the next listener.

Please only take what really resonates with your own being.

I would also like to remind you again that meditation is a personal practice.

So please listen to the following however you feel comfortable.

Okay,

With all that being said,

Let's breathe together for a few moments.

You can go at your own pace.

I will keep track of the time for us and bring your awareness back when we start the affirmations.

If you like,

You may now close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Or just leave your eyes open and keep going about your day.

Feel free to focus on your breath if you so choose.

Just observing the inhales and the exhales.

However they come.

No need to force anything.

Just let the breath come.

However it chooses to flow.

In and out.

Great job,

My friend.

Now I will introduce the affirmations to you.

Please let them sink in and resonate with you.

I am centered and grounded.

I am protected by the universe.

I feel my connection to the earth.

I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.

I am confident.

I am strong.

I am successful.

I am protected.

I am nourished.

I am always provided for.

I can always take care of myself.

I am in control.

I am awake.

I am rooted in the present moment.

I trust in the natural flow of life.

I am grounded and connected to Mother Earth.

I trust in the goodness of life.

I know everything is working out for my highest good.

I am connected to the energy of the universe.

I am at peace with myself.

I am at peace with my past,

Present,

And future.

I am accepting of myself.

I am living a life of purpose and meaning.

I listen to my body and honor its needs.

I can heal myself.

I am confident.

I am comfortable and secure in my own skills.

I trust myself.

I am enough.

I can easily obtain a sense of inner peace.

All is well.

All right,

Beautiful friend.

Now bring your focus back to your breath,

If you so choose.

We will let these affirmations sink in for a moment and sit with our breath before we come back into our surroundings.

Just breathe.

Let your breath come naturally.

Great job,

Friend.

We have reached the end of our practice today.

I invite you to bring some gentle movement to your body.

Maybe wiggle your fingers and toes.

Roll out your shoulders or stretch your neck a little.

However you feel called to move.

If you had closed your eyes,

You may begin to open them now and return to the space around you.

I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to you for participating in this practice today.

I would also like to remind you that all is well.

You are enough.

And you can trust yourself.

Please know you are welcome back anytime,

Friend.

Please visit this practice anytime you need a sense of grounding and security.

I would like to thank you one more time for listening today.

Blessings and Namaste.

Namaste.

Oh my word, Caitlin, this was wonderful! Really emotional today and this brought tears to my eyes 🥲I love Blossom’s playing and your calm reading of the affirmations and also absolutely love your low demand delivery of them. You are such a blessing, thank you for this! ✨🙏🏻 P.s. I’d love to be able to see the affirmations if you have them listed somewhere as I struggle to process complex verbal information on its own and that would really help me.
