Hi,
And welcome to foundational breathing.
My name is Connie Curtis,
And thank you for being here today Foundational breathing is used to relax the nervous system and shift you quickly into your parasympathetic state Where you'll feel peaceful and relaxed so enjoy These are the steps of foundational breathing first step is to take a deep breath through the belly chest and All the way to the top of the head Breathing in through the nose then the second step is to hold your breath and Third step is to slowly release the breath out through the mouth The slower you exhale the more relaxed you will feel These are the steps of foundational breathing.
I Will be guiding you through the breath work,
So you don't have to remember anything so Now Let's go find a place that's comfortable and set up tall and straight or you can lie down the floor At first you may find it challenging to breathe as slow as me Just remember to keep your belly soft and just do your best The more you practice this breath work the easier it will become to do We will begin our breath work by taking in a big breath through the nose Filling the belly chest and head and holding briefly at the top and Then release through the mouth sighing it out And we're going to take one more of these take a deep breath in through your belly chest and all the way to the top of your head and hold and Then sigh it out Now we're going to begin in three two and one deep breath in all the way up to the top of your head hold Exhale out slowly sign another breath in All the way to the top of your head hold Exhale out sign You're doing amazing Another deep breath in through your belly chest and to the top of your head hold Exhale out We're going to do three more of these Breathe in deeply through your nose all the way to the top of your head hold sigh out Another deep breath in all the way to the top of your head hold Sigh out One more breath all the way up to your head Breathing deeply into your belly chest To the top of the head hold and sigh out This is a simple and powerful breath work This breath work is a powerful way to shift your internal state anytime at any place Take these last few moments to enjoy the state of relaxation By breathing deeply in and out through your nose and simply relax into a deep meditative state and melt into your body My name is Connie Curtis namaste
