
Anxiety SOS: Gentle Resourcing Practice
In moments of anxiety or overwhelm, our bodies can become a whirlwind of uncomfortable sensations. In this short SOS practice, I invite you to gently place your hands over your heart space and validate what you’re feeling. From there, I guide you into one of my favourite resourcing practices - creating new sensations in the body, ones we have agency and autonomy over - by tapping gently across your chest and heart space, at whatever pace or rhythm feels most supportive. You can explore the practice for as long or as little as you like - there is no right or wrong. This is a practice I’ve used for many years. I hope it offers you the same steadiness and grounding it has given me. There is no music or closing bell in this track, but at the very end, you’ll hear the sweet birds in my garden say goodbye.
