Take a double inhale,
Tense all the muscles in your body,
Scrunch your face up.
Exhale,
Release.
Double in all tens.
Exhale,
Release.
Depending on how you're sitting.
You're either going to feel the seat underneath you.
Or are you going to feel the ground underneath you?
What you want to do is sit up nice and tall and closer to the front edge of your seat.
So that there's a sense of support underneath you,
But facilitation within your own body.
It's like,
I'm going to actively be part of this experience and reach for the stars.
And I'm held underneath.
So there's some sense of support and some sense of that personal responsibility to go into this action.
And as I said,
If the palms are upwards,
That helps the shoulders relax and the heart be open,
But it keeps our energy open,
Too,
When we have the palms up.
You're gonna close your eyes.
And gaze just slightly upward under closed eyelids.
And where are you looking?
Think about looking at the anterior cingulate cortex.
Think about looking at that part of the prefrontal cortex that tunes into intuition.
From the spiritual vantage point.
The yogis will call that the seat of highest consciousness.
But consciousness is all about tuning in intuitively,
And the scientists find that too.
So that's the part of our brain we're going to open up.
We're going to access.
Imagine a beautiful white golden light at that point between the eyebrows.
Your breath comes,
The most important thing in your body,
It comes in and out through that point,
Through the bridge of your nose.
This is essential for your physical being and for the connection with spirit.
I want you to think about sealing that connection,
Sealing that strength,
Like you are opening up that spiritual eye.
Your physical eyes are closed,
Spiritual eyes open.
And that means that it's always there for you.
Always open.
So whatever ride.
You go on emotionally.
The emotions are the human experience.
But as you pass through being human and you feel the emotions flow through you as another way to bring wisdom and awareness and experience being human,
Know that,
That.
Light that open eye.
Is there.
So even if you're having those moments while you're in a motion.
At any moment.
You can come back to it consciously,
But I want you to imagine that it's always operating,
Even if you're not consciously aware of it.
Always there supporting you,
Guiding you into the light,
Guiding you into the best path.
So we think about trying to feel.
In that moment of pain,
We wonder,
Is it going to last forever and how am I going to handle this?
So one,
I want you to know that the spiritual eye is there for you.
Two,
I want you to know that I'm right here for you as well.
I can help pull you out if you go too far down a rabbit hole.
3.
Science shows it normally takes 90 seconds.
To go through each emotion that comes up.
So understand the impermanence.
The temporariness.
That this present moment doesn't define all moments.
It's very easy to think that this present moment means this is how it is forever.
Really,
It just means this is how it is in this moment.
You can create a sense of trust that you can handle what you're given.
And that you can handle feeling emotion and going through an experience.
Perception that the emotion is bad or the experience is bad is also just our perception of that.
That it is bad.
So what if there was no good or bad?
And even if your mind creates a definition of the emotion that you're experiencing as bad,
It doesn't mean you need to stop.
It doesn't mean it shouldn't be there.
And it doesn't mean that it is bad.
The emotion is as it is.
Paramahansa Yogananda said circumstances are neutral.
The emotion acts as it acts.
And we don't need to judge in each moment whether or not we're going to go into something.
Based on our judgment of it.
What if our judgment is about embracing all that shows up in each moment?
I want you to breathe deeply in and out through your nose as I'm talking.
Let your belly expand.
Feel the breath coming in and out through the bridge of the nose and keep looking at that beautiful white golden light.
So what's here right now?
What if it was all meant to be here right now?
What if life wasn't about this constant control and it should be this way and let me make it this way and if I do it the right way,
I'll get the right thing attracted to me.
What if everything was the right thing?
Keep breathing.
You can imagine my words like a song.
And visualize these words coming in with the breath and flowing out.
And the words that feel like a song to you,
Those are only the ones that come into you.
In other words,
The don't don't.
Your radio station is going to be tuned.
So I want you to tell yourself,
I'm going to tune into the radio station.
Of sounds that are like a sweet song to my being.
That are in vibrational alignment with what I meant to receive and be open to right now.
Continue to seal the trust.
With the right now.
Notice three.
Things that you can auditorily hear.
What if you were moving slightly in your chair and there was that slight brustle?
And your jacket kind of moves as you ship.
The sound of your breath.
If you have a heating or AC system on.
That there's a car on the street distant to you.
That's all you can say that's true about the right now.
Notice three things you can physically feel on your skin.
Pressure.
Of the seat or the floor underneath you.
The hug of your socks or shoes around your feet.
Either the hair or the air on your head.
Air on your face.
The cooler air coming in your body,
The warmer you're leaving your body.
Those are the only things true about this moment.
And Yogananda says circumstances are neutral.
If we believe this moment is on fire,
Simply because we decided it is.
It's like being a fly on the wall and watching life.
What does the fly see?
Matter-of-fact senses.
Not our beliefs around what we make up about life.
Now choose to be honest with yourself.
Honest with what emotional visitors are visiting you right now.
Choose?
To realize the more you acknowledge their presence,
The better you will feel.
The easier it will be to complete that relationship.
The easier it will be to gain the wisdom to adjust your life.
According to the message that they are bringing you.
Know that you can handle their presence.
Feel into the center of your heart.
Be honest with how it feels right now,
Without judgment around yourself.
It's all okay.
All perfect.
Say hello.
You can either say,
Show me yourself,
Or you can say,
I see you,
Depending on where you are with noticing.
Maybe I hear you,
I feel you.
You don't have to know why,
That visitor is in your heart.
Or what they're telling you.
All you need to do right now is acknowledge their presence.
All you have to do is feel.
If it's extreme,
If it's too hard.
With each inhale,
I want you to imagine white light coming in and filling your heart.
And with each exhale,
The emotion trailing away.
Kind of watch it as it lingers away.
Inhale white light.
Exhale.
Breathe the emotion out and watch it as it trails away.
If you do that fully,
You could be done with each emotion in two to three breaths,
Less than 90 seconds.
You don't have to know why it was here and you don't have to hold on to it and remember that it was here.
Once it leaves,
You can let it go.
You don't have to figure out why I was here.
The relationship.
Can be done.
Even if you've held it for years.
You can actually continue your life without it.
And no.
How to fill up the space of your life.
If it has left you,
You'll be okay.
Maybe.
As you release one emotion,
Another one comes up.
As we open up space.
There's a lot of those emotions hanging out in there.
It can take time.
Go through each of them,
That's okay.
You don't have to notice all of them right now.
And new ones might show up.
Right?
People are always moving.
Mr.
Anger and Mrs.
Frustration.
Coming and going.
A nomadic life movement.
Maybe you notice.
Physical pain or emotional pain in another part of the body.
Do the same practice there.
Acknowledge.
The presence.
Without.
Judgment.
Keep your eyes gazing slightly upward.
To remind you that that light is always there.
And breathing into whatever feelings are coming up.
Until each one leaves.
Without needing to know why it was here and why it left.
Where it's going.
What's gonna happen to you now that it's gone?
Too many unknowns.
Can you embrace the unknown?
So that you can release the noun of that emotion.
Three more breaths whenever you're feeling.
Now,
As I pull you out,
If you're still in something and you want to complete it,
Please do so.
Otherwise.
Feel the physical seat underneath you.
Air on your skin.
And slowly open your eyes.
