I offer my surrender to the oneness which binds us all.

Welcome to this meditation practice based on inquiry technique.

Inquiry meditation is just not about reaching a final answer but about deepening your relationship to your own experience.

May this meditation brings you clarity,

Connection and peace.

A seed for your soul before we commence the practice.

A lion can kill us only once but the fear of lion kills thousands of times.

What is future?

It is the integration of units of several present moments.

So how do you then predict the future?

Begin by arriving in this moment and allowing yourself to release any thoughts or emotions known and unknown around fear of the future.

So find a comfortable position to do this meditation practice and arrive in this moment fully from the business of your to-do list,

Goals,

Targets,

Allowing yourself to come along and be open and receptive to everything in this moment.

If you like for this meditation you can set an intention in the form of a statement.

It could be this moment is enough or I'm safe in this breath.

The future will come when it comes.

You may repeat it in your mind three times and even if you don't have an intention that is also fine.

Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.

The past has already dissolved.

The future has not come yet.

There is only this living moment,

Breathing,

Sensing,

Being.

As you are arriving in the present moment,

Acknowledge,

Accept and let go of any emotion or thought of uncertainty and unpredictability.

Begin to center yourselves in this moment and start to withdraw from your outer world to your inner world.

Acknowledge,

Appreciate your five senses which is your tool to experience waking life.

If your eyes are still open,

You may close your eyes or lower your gaze and if your mind begins to wander,

Gently with loving kindness,

Bring your attention to your breath,

Your connection to the body and as thoughts emerge,

Gently let them pass and bring your attention to the simple act of breathing.

Take a moment to notice any sensations emerging and passing away in the body.

If any part of your body needs attention,

Please do spend few moments on that body part.

Allow your mind to be open and receptive to everything arising in this moment,

Moving into the heart of inquiry,

Pose your question gently as if dropping a pebble into a still pond.

Sense there is no rush to seek an immediate answer,

Simply allowing the question to open space for curiosity and discovery.

Beginning to inquire softly as if speaking to a dear friend,

What am I afraid of or what am I afraid might happen?

Let any image or feeling arise naturally,

Observe it without clinking like watching waves move on water,

Dropping another question,

Is it happening now?

Looking internally in this present moment,

Is that feared event occurring?

Notice the truth of right now,

Add to your inquiry by asking what part of you believes this fear keeps you safe?

Listen to that part of you with compassion,

Acknowledging you're just trying to help,

Even if through worry.

You may whisper inwardly,

Thank you for trying to protect me,

You can rest now,

Adding to your inquiry,

Who would I be without this fear?

Take a gentle breath and visualize your fearless version,

A version of you walking forward with trust,

Curiosity and peace.

Notice the foundation of your being,

Your true state of happiness,

Joy and peace as best as you can,

Let go of the need for an outcome,

Simply rest in the stillness and the inquiry will happen and insights may flow,

Embrace the stillness and in the next 5 minutes just surrender to the space of inquiry and insights,

Gently begin to bring back your awareness in your body and in this moment,

Acknowledging and paying your gratitude to your body and 5 senses,

Your connection to this world.

If you had set an intention at the start of this practice,

You can gently repeat it in your mind,

Trusting the process of inquiry and as you get back to your routine,

Be aware and open to any insights or answers that may come your way in a surprisingly calming,

Unexpected manner.

Thanks for joining me today.

I would like to conclude this session with a Vedic mantra.

Shanti.

This world,

This creation is complete,

Full with divine consciousness.

The inner world is also complete,

Full with divine consciousness.

From complete is manifested complete.

Taking complete from complete,

What's left is also complete.

This world is complete,

You are complete.

With the divine grace,

Bestows on the soul.

Thank you.
