Welcome to this gentle self-hand massage.
I'm so glad you're here.
Let's just begin with a soft breath in,
And a slow breath out.
And releasing softly,
Just letting go.
Just allow your shoulders to soften,
Just allow your jaw to release,
And just let your whole body arrive here in this moment.
Thank you so much,
And it's so good to give them a little self-care.
Reflexology is actually reflected in the hands as well,
So there are some wonderful acupressure points that we can use as well during the massage.
So make sure you're in a comfy position,
Warm and cosy.
And we'll just begin by waking up the energy in our hands.
So just gently begin to rub your hands together.
A little faster getting into all the joints as well.
And feel the warmth,
Begin to feel the gentle heat between your palms.
As you slow down,
Just notice any sensation of warmth,
Tingling,
Aliveness.
Just gently bring your hands together,
Just patting on the back of your hands,
Letting them know you are preparing for a lovely hand massage.
Now if you'd like to use a little oil,
Now's the time.
Use some oil if you'd like to,
Hand cream.
But there's no need,
It's not essential for this treatment.
Just know that your hands will receive the same care either way.
And maybe just give your hands this little rub.
This is really good for any tension in your wrists.
You can really stretch.
Just gently,
Just going as far as is comfortable for you.
And let's just shake our hands gently here.
Just releasing any tension still held in the hands.
And let your breath guide your hands.
Just remember to breathe in gently and as you breathe out,
Just softly.
And using your thumb,
Just begin with some slow movements until you come to the centre of your palm.
Take a breath,
Breath in.
And just gently press in as you release.
This area is often linked with calming your body and mind.
And you can just gently knuckle down,
Hold.
This will give a slightly deeper pressure,
But just go with what you can really.
Knuckle into the lower of your fingers and then we'll just come to the thumb area.
I'm just going to take a deep breath in.
Push in.
And as you release,
Let go.
Our fingers hold so much tension,
It's just good.
Release.
And your ring finger.
Good.
And then just give the tips of your fingers a little squeeze.
Wonderful.
So yeah,
These areas are linked to the brain,
To your eyes,
To your neck.
And you can just imagine your eyes as soft as you want.
The base areas that feel a little tender,
Stay there for a moment,
Just breathing in.
Tips of your fingernails.
And then we'll just do some stretching.
Just bring some lightness to your hands,
To this movement.
Just gently wrap the hands together now.
Squeezing gently,
Holding for a moment now.
Now we're just going to do some more wrist movements.
So just interlocking your fingers.
Now using the palm of your hands,
Just to rub the palm on the tension.
And this is really good for your arms,
For moving circulation.
It's also good for lift drainage as well,
Especially the chest area.
Good.
And then just putting your thumb in between the web of your palm.
Holding tension again.
If you feel any tender areas,
Just take a shoulder and gently release.
Bring the palms together again.
Now just gently brush your hands from your wrist to your fingertips,
Just as if you're clearing a vein in the hip.
Wonderful.
Now just bring both hands together now,
Wrap this.
Just notice the gentle flow.
Just loosen your hands.
Just notice the gentle flow from one hand.
Now flowing from your hands,
Your neck,
Over your arms,
Your chest,
Down over your.
.
.
Thank you for taking time for you.
And thank you for joining me.
Be gentle with yourself as you move back into your day.
Namaste,
My friends.
