Welcome.

I'm really glad you're here.

Let this be a few minutes where nothing is required of you.

There's no effort to relax,

No need to go anywhere else.

Just allow your body to settle in its own way in your comfy warm space.

Notice how you're supported by the chair or the bed,

The floor beneath you.

Feel your body soften.

Take a slow breath in and an easy breath out,

Letting go.

Slowly close your eyes and however today feels,

There's no need to change it.

In this meditation,

We explore glimmers,

Those small quiet moments of ease that often go unnoticed.

Rather than trying to change how you feel,

You're invited to just gently rest with what already feels a little softer.

It's just time to breathe and be.

Now gently bring your attention into your body.

Just notice the weight of your body being held,

The steadiness beneath you,

The quiet rhythm of breathing.

You don't have to focus perfectly,

Just sensing,

Noticing,

Allowing.

If it feels comforting,

You might rest a hand on your heart or belly.

Just a simple reminder that you're here.

Feel the warmth from your hand on your heart and just reflect on your heartbeat.

Good.

Now allow your attention to soften even more.

There's nowhere you need to go and nothing you need to visualize perfectly.

A glimmer is often something very small,

So small it's easy to miss.

A quiet moment where things feel a little less tight,

A little more at ease.

So just begin by noticing the space around you.

Feel the air touching your skin,

The room gently holding you and just let your awareness rest there for a couple of breaths.

Now bring your attention back to your body,

Noticing again where your body feels supported,

The places where you're being held without needing to hold yourself.

Perhaps it's your back,

Your legs or your hands just resting quietly.

You're not looking for comfort,

But just noticing what feels steady,

Neutral or okay.

Now allow your natural breath to come into your awareness,

Not changing it,

Just noticing its gentle rhythm.

Inhale and feel the rise.

Exhale and feel the fall.

And again,

Inhale and release.

Just follow your gentle natural rhythm.

Sometimes a glimmer can show up as a sensation,

Maybe a softness in your shoulders,

A loosening in your jaw or a sense of warmth or calm.

You could remember a moment of deep joy and if you notice anything like that,

Just see if you can stay with it for a few breaths.

No need to deepen it,

Just keeping it company.

If any sensations aren't present today,

That's okay.

You could instead notice a simple image,

Perhaps the soft light moving across a wall,

A light filtering through leaves or a quiet moment from your day.

The image doesn't need detail,

Even a hint is enough.

Now just see yourself resting beside this moment.

Rather than inside it,

It's like sitting next to something kind and familiar.

Notice how your body responds when you linger here with these glimmers without expectation.

Perhaps your breath slews slightly or your body settles just a little more.

This is the glimmer,

Not something dramatic,

Just a moment of gentle ease.

So let's stay here for a few more breaths,

Allowing this small experience to be felt in your body.

It could be a moment of joy,

A softening in your body or a beautiful image that resonates with you.

And just one more breath in and release.

Just resume your natural breathing pattern now.

From this place of gentle noticing,

We'll slowly come into a few affirmations.

Let them land naturally or just simply let the sound of my words wash over you.

In this moment,

I'm allowed to soften.

I can rest with what feels supportive.

Small moments of ease are meaningful.

I can meet this day one beautiful breath at a time.

Quiet moments nourish me.

Beautiful.

Now just breathe those words deep into your being and let them settle in your heart.

Take a deep breath in.

And a nice,

Gentle,

Slow exhale.

Just notice how you feel now,

Even if the change is very subtle.

This sense of ease doesn't need to stay,

There's nothing to preserve.

Just know that these small moments are always available to you in pauses,

In stillness,

In a single breath.

When you're ready,

Just slowly begin to notice the space around you again.

The sounds,

The gentle movement of your body.

Can roll your shoulders gently if that feels good and just allow your body to stretch.

Take another slow breath and carry this softness with you in whatever way feels right.

You're welcome back here any time.

Namaste,

My friend.
