Good morning and welcome.
My name is Aimee and I'm really happy to be here with you to guide you through a beautiful morning meditation.
When we come together to meditate,
It really enhances our energies and our intention.
And so thank you for being here with me because I know this is going to make my day that much better as well.
I invite you to find yourself in a seated position,
Closing your eyes,
And just feeling your spine lengthening as you start to wake your body up.
It may feel good to reach your arms up over your head,
Taking a morning stretch,
And bringing your palms down to your knees when you're ready,
Keeping them face down to ground this morning,
Or flipping them over,
Facing up to receive.
Bringing your attention to the breath.
Taking a deep inhale and exhaling with me.
Another inhale,
Pausing at the top,
And exhaling.
One more time together.
Inhaling,
Pausing at the top,
And exhaling.
This morning,
We're going to set an intention.
It can be anything you want,
But I always love setting an intention that is an I am statement.
I always love setting an intention that is an I am statement.
This morning,
I'm going to set the intention I am connected.
I love this intention because to me,
It reminds me as I go throughout my day of this moment,
Of this connection.
Of this intention.
Simply allowing yourself to be in this present moment.
Anytime your mind starts to wander,
Bring it back to the breath,
Or bring it back to your intention.
I am connected.
I am connected.
Think about anything that feels stressful for you,
That is ahead of you today.
Allow yourself to simply observe this,
And on an inhale,
Breathe in peace.
And on an exhale,
Breathe out everything that feels stressful to you today.
And on an exhale,
Breathe out everything that feels stressful to you today.
Trusting that with this intention of inhaling love,
And exhaling stress,
You are releasing it from your body.
Inhaling love together,
And exhaling all of the stress and any feelings that are just not sitting right with you right now.
Inhaling love,
And exhaling one more time any energies or emotions or feelings that do not feel good in your body.
Coming back to your intention,
I am connected.
And now start to visualize how you want to feel today.
How you want to show up.
How you want to make people feel.
Visualize something you're looking forward to.
Visualize something you're looking forward to.
It can be as simple as feeling the sun on your skin,
Even for just a moment.
That first sip of coffee.
Continuing to imagine how this will all make you feel.
Picturing yourself smiling at someone as you pass them by.
Smiling at someone as you pass them by.
Simply because you want to put that love out into the world.
Picturing yourself being kind to someone.
Simply because you know how much that means to others.
Simply because that is who you are.
Visualize yourself coming home at the end of the day.
Reflecting on how you moved through the world today.
Your interactions with others.
The moments when you felt totally alive,
Fully connected.
As you look back on the day,
Feeling proud of yourself.
For showing up with love as much as possible.
And as our time here begins to come to a close,
Bring your left hand to your heart.
And your right hand to your belly.
Sitting up a little bit straighter again.
Coming back to your intention.
However busy your day becomes,
Remembering this moment.
If you feel called to,
You can bring your hands together in front of your heart.
Taking a moment to just bow your head.
