Good morning.

Welcome to this new day.

Take a moment to find presence in being awake.

A new day has begun.

Bring attention to your breath.

Not to control it.

Just to be aware of it.

Breathing is already happening.

Life is already moving through you.

Silently acknowledging this moment.

Quietly saying,

I'm here.

Allowing this to be enough.

Bring awareness to your body.

Feel the weight of your body where it's supported.

Notice the steadiness underneath you.

Sense your chest and belly moving with the breath.

Each inhale,

You expand.

And each exhale,

You release.

Your body has carried you into another day.

Now expand your attention slightly.

Notice the space around you.

The light.

The sounds.

Recognize that you are not separate from what's around you.

The same air you breathe has moved through trees,

Water,

Others.

The same ground supports many lives.

Many beings.

Let yourself feel a part of this larger field of life.

Not thinking about it.

Just sensing it.

Bring to mind the simple fact that this day will unfold.

No matter what you do,

Moments will come and go.

Rather than deciding how to be,

Allow yourself to arrive with openness.

You don't need to shape the day right now.

Let this be a quiet,

Inner gesture of willingness to meet what comes.

To stay present where you can.

To return to awareness when you forget.

Let this be your way of beginning.

Return once more to the breath.

Feel one more inhale.

And one long,

Deep exhale.

Acknowledging that you've taken the time to greet this day with presence.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Allowing this connection to linger with you quietly as you begin to move into your day.

The light in me honors the light in you.
