This short breathing session is perfect for the middle of your day when you want to get back to a good emotional state, relax your system for a bit & just get back to being present. I created this for when I was feeling overwhelmed & a bit cloudy in my head. A perfect and simple reset for your mind.

Maybe you feel a little bit overwhelmed today,

Then welcome in and let's take some breaths together and do some meditation just for a few minutes so you're ready for the next part of your day.

I've just finished some tasks and I feel a little bit mentally clouded so I think it's a perfect time to do a few of my favorite breathing exercises.

So let's just start by taking a deep breath in through your nose and then taking one more sip in through your nose and then I slow out as you can.

One more exactly like that.

Big breath in,

Sip in and slow out.

Just feeling your mind slowing down just a little bit.

Just allowing yourself to sit,

Lay down just for a moment.

And now we're just gonna take some slower breaths.

So three seconds in,

Six seconds out.

And if you feel called to do it,

You can visualize your breath going around staircase and up around the staircase.

So starting three seconds in,

Six seconds out through pressed lips.

In,

Around the staircase.

In,

Just a few more.

Feeling your body relaxing into the last breath.

Continuing with normal breaths,

Just allowing your breath to flow.

Relaxing your jaw,

Your neck,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Relaxing your chest,

Relaxing your hands,

Your stomach,

All the way through your back.

Relaxing your spine,

Your lower back,

Relaxing your legs,

Relaxing your feet.

Now,

I want you to visualize that you're seated in your room and through the door your highest self appears.

Your highest self is here to give you a nugget of wisdom for how to continue your day in the best way possible.

So just allowing yourself to receive this message,

Trusting that it's right for you,

Not thinking but feeling the answer coming.

And once you've gotten this answer,

Your higher self takes a step back and in comes your eight-year-old self.

They're not here to be healed.

Your eight-year-old self is here to give you a nugget of wisdom to how you can enjoy and have more fun for the rest of your day.

Because your eight-year-old self knows that what you're going to remember is the times you enjoyed yourself and you were present in the moment.

So just allowing yourself to receive the message from your eight-year-old self and trusting that it's exactly what you need to hear today before you take a step into the next part of your day.

And just allowing yourself to receive,

Saying thank you to these versions of yourself and taking one more big breath in through your nose.

Just remembering that everything is perfect right now.

Everything is exactly the way it should be.

And you choose how you want to feel,

Think and act for the rest of the day.
