Hello and welcome to this morning heart opening meditation practice.
Increasing our awareness of our heart space each morning can help ground us,
Cultivating warmth,
Patience and understanding for ourselves and for others.
So I'd like to invite you now to enter into your meditation position,
Either sitting upright with your spine comfortably erect or lying down.
Take a moment to ground into your body.
Release any tension you might be holding onto.
Relax your brow,
Your jaw.
Relax your shoulders and the next few moments just be.
And now I'd like to invite you to take three deep breaths with your attention on your heart space.
So inhaling through the nose,
Filling all the way up to your heart and letting go through the mouth.
And we'll do this twice more.
So breathing in.
And releasing.
And breathing in.
And letting go.
And now I'd like you to envisage a bright glowing golden light radiating from your chest.
Feel it fill up your body,
Healing and caressing you.
And now feel the light flow out from your chest.
Fill the room around you.
Now feel the light expanding further to encompass your house,
Your town.
Feel it reach and touch all the people you will encounter today.
Feel it radiating and healing them.
And just stay with this image for the next few moments.
And now taking in a deep inhale.
And on the exhale,
Bringing your attention just back to your heart space.
Just feel the warmth and the power in your chest.
And now taking in another deep breath and letting go and releasing the practice.
