Using visualisation and affirmations, you’ll release attachments that no longer serve you, fostering emotional freedom, clarity, and personal empowerment. It is perfect for letting go of the past and restoring balance within.

So hi everyone,
And welcome to this meditation,
Reclaiming your energy by cutting emotional cords.
So throughout life,
We form connections with people,
Places,
Experiences,
Situations.
Now most of these nourish us,
Serve us,
But sometimes other connections may be draining our energy or holding us back from living fully in the present moment.
So energetic cords are like these connections which keep us attached and entangled to people and experiences from our past after they've served their purpose in our lives.
And this meditation is a very gentle invitation to release these cords with compassion and reclaiming your energy.
As we do this,
We'll feel a sense of peace and restore our own sense of personal power as we call our energy back.
Now as we move through this practice,
Remember,
Anything that arises,
Just let it come up without judgment.
And this is only a space for healing,
Clarity,
And renewal.
So let's begin.
Now just,
Let's settle into stillness now.
So wherever you are,
You may be sitting up,
You may be lying down,
Or maybe there's another position that's most comfortable to you.
Just find that position for yourself,
Find the most comfortable position.
Right now,
At a place where you won't be disturbed for the next few minutes.
Just find that position now,
Lying down or sitting up in a relaxed posture.
I'll just start by allowing your hands to rest naturally by your lap,
By your sides,
And at this stage,
If you prefer,
You can start to soften your gaze.
Just letting the eyes relax,
Softening the gaze,
Softening the gaze.
And if your body allows now,
You can close your eyes.
And now let's start by focusing our attention on the breath.
Now,
Take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
And we'll do this again,
Deep breath in through your nose,
And then breathing out through your mouth.
And we'll do this again,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Now for the next one,
In through the nose,
Go all the way down to the stomach,
To the belly button.
Breathe in a little bit deeper and breathe all the way out.
For the next breath,
In through the nose,
All the way down to the stomach,
Hold your breath,
Hold it for as long as it's comfortable.
And then through your mouth,
All the way out.
So continue to take a few more breaths,
In through the nose,
Hold at the stomach,
And out through your mouth.
Now,
As you exhale,
Feel your body beginning to soften,
Beginning to relax,
And let any tension in your shoulders,
In your jaw,
In your chest,
Or anywhere else melt away.
Inhaling calm,
Inhaling peace,
And exhaling in,
Exhaling out.
Any tension,
Any heaviness that you may be carrying.
Now,
Let your body find its natural rhythm of breathing.
So let the body find its own rhythm for breathing now,
Just keeping your attention with the body,
Feeling calmer,
Feeling more relaxed.
Thoughts may have slowed down,
Still keeping the eyes closed.
Just present with your body.
I am present with my body.
I am present with my breath.
I'm not asking anything to change.
I am present with my body.
Now,
As you are present with your body,
Bring your awareness to the surface,
The hard surface beneath you.
Maybe it is the ground,
Maybe it is the bed,
The chair,
The yoga mat,
Whatever it is that's underneath you.
Just bring your attention there.
Allowing yourself to completely let go,
So you can be held by the hard surface,
By Mother Earth,
By the ground.
Just letting yourself go.
Feeling the support of the hard surface underneath you.
Feeling the support of the ground,
The safety,
Being held,
Surrendering.
And from this space of safety and support,
Bring your attention now to the soles of your feet.
And imagine that there are roots of light growing from the soles of your feet and going all the way down into Mother Earth.
Roots of light from the soles of my feet going all the way down into Mother Earth.
Roots of light from the soles of my feet going all the way down to Mother Earth.
These roots are anchoring me,
Providing me stability and providing me grounding.
These roots are anchoring me,
Providing me stability and providing me grounding.
Now every breath that I take,
This connection between me and Earth and the hard surface and this thing which is holding me is becoming stronger.
Every breath that I take,
My body feels safer and supported.
Safer and supported.
Heavy and relaxed.
Heavy and relaxed.
Heavy and relaxed.
Deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper.
Into my own body,
Into my deeper mind and just letting go now,
Surrendering to my body's wisdom.
Now from this calm,
Relaxed,
Safe space I will invite you now just to bring your awareness to the space around your body.
So if I say space around my body,
There is a soft,
Glowing light that is surrounding me.
Now it can be any color,
It can be any shape or anything else that's showing up for you.
There is a soft,
Glowing light now surrounding me.
This is an extension of me and this is my energy field.
So take a few moments now to visualize,
To bring this up.
Space around my body,
A soft,
Glowing light which is an extension of me.
I am now aware of it.
I can see it,
I can feel it,
I can sense it.
Now as you sit with this space around your body,
How does it feel to you right now?
Is it heavy?
Is it vibrant?
Does it feel free?
Just be guided on what comes up for you.
Space around my body and I'm simply observing this space without any judgment.
Now this is my own energy field,
My aura.
Just observe.
Now as we inhale,
Imagine that this energy field becomes brighter and clearer and with every exhale release any heaviness or stagnation from your space.
So let's do that now for a few breaths.
So every inhale my energy field becomes brighter and clearer and every exhale any heaviness,
Any stagnation is now released.
Now from this balanced state where I have access to my energy field,
Where I can sense,
See or feel my access field,
Is there a person,
Situation or experience in my life that I feel is draining my energy?
Now it might be a current relationship,
A current situation,
A past event or even a negative belief you hold about yourself.
Is there a person,
Situation or experience that I feel is draining my energy right now?
And just let that come to you.
Allow your higher self knows just allow that thing to come to you now.
Now as you become aware,
If there is anything showing up for you,
As I now tune into the space around me,
As I now tune into my energy field,
Where do I see this connection?
Now if I'm connected to this person,
To this situation,
To this experience,
Where in my energy field is the connection?
Just do this inquiry and your body will answer.
Where in my body is this cord attached?
Maybe it's in my heart.
Maybe it's in my abdomen.
Maybe it's in my spine or another area.
Completely trust whatever comes to mind.
And we'll just spend a few seconds here.
Just let this information come to you.
Now as I have located this connection,
This cord in my energy field,
I know which area I'm feeling it in.
Now this may be a sensation,
A knowing,
A heaviness,
A tightness or just intuitively knowing that this is where I feel this may be present.
Just completely trust what's being shown to you.
Now take a moment to acknowledge this cord.
Now this thing,
When it came into your life,
Be it a person,
A situation,
An event,
A relationship.
Now this was a lesson.
This was an opportunity for growth.
Or this was just karma playing out.
So before we release it,
Just silently thank God.
Thank it for what it has taught you.
Just simply saying the words,
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And now when you're ready,
Whatever area you've located this cord in,
Visualize that there is a golden light now surrounding that area.
A warm golden light is now surrounding the cord.
And with every breath that you take,
The heaviness,
The tension,
The cord begins to dissolve.
Begins to dissolve.
Begins to dissolve.
Now imagine yourself.
You're either holding a pair of scissors or maybe you have a blade or simply use your hands.
And when you're ready,
On the next exhale,
Just gently cut or release this cord.
Now as you do this,
With the scissors or with your hands,
You'll now see that this cord,
This area of tension completely dissolves into this golden light and it's returning to the universe.
As we are doing this process,
How does your body feel?
That area where I located this cord before in my body what do I feel there?
Is there lightness?
Is there relief?
Is there peace?
Trust?
Whatever is arising?
And let this feeling completely fade away.
If there are any thoughts,
Memories,
Emotions showing up right now,
Imagine them leaving you.
Leaving your body leaving your energy body and going back to the universe.
Now,
To complete this process,
We'll repeat this three times.
I bless you with love.
I forgive you.
I forgive myself.
And I let you go from my life.
Feeling a little bit more relief.
I bless you with love.

More relief.
More lightness.
And we'll do it one last time.

Now,

You're very welcome to pause the recording here and let the golden light take its time to completely dissolve the cord.
And if you think this process is complete,
You can now once again visualize the space around your body.
And this time I want you to take this golden light all throughout.
So the entire area around my body is now the shining bright golden light.
Shining bright golden light.
All around my body.
There is no tightness.
There is no darkness.
There is no cord.
Shining bright golden light all around my body.
Radiating strength,
Courage,
And confidence.
Strength,
Courage,
And confidence.
Strength,
Courage,
And confidence.
Now,
As you sit in the presence of your own energy field,
We'll repeat this affirmation.
I am safe,
Grounded,
And empowered.
I am safe,
Grounded,
And empowered.
I am safe,
Grounded,
And empowered.
Now before we come back to our body,
I want you to remember that this golden light is like a protective shield around your body.
Only and only and only allowing things that align with your highest good to come to you.
Now gently,
Slowly,
Feeling empowered,
I'm going to start to bring my attention back to my body,
Top of my head,
Forehead,
My nose,
My lips,
My throat,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Hands,
Chest,
Stomach,
Legs,
Knees,
Calves,
Feet.
Now you can wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Maybe even move your neck.
Just small movements to come back to the body.
And after this exhale,
You're very welcome to open your eyes.
Now whatever came to you today was possibly something in your life that was affecting you on an energetic level,
Even though it had served its purpose.
You can return to this recording any time you need to.
For some situations,
For some people,
For some experiences,
You may need to do this a few times to fully let go of that experience from your life.
Now as you have created a space today for new opportunities,
New experiences,
New relationships that align with your highest good,
And we have brought in a sense of clarity,
Freedom and empowerment.
