Let the breath move easily.

Bringing awareness to any temperature changes.
And the softening of muscles.
Noticing how your body moves with each inhale and exhale.
And taking note of where you're at today,
Where your emotions are.
Now begin to notice the feeling of gravity beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body resting here.
Your legs,
Your seat,
Your feet,
All gently supported by the earth.
Imagine that weight grounding you,
Pulling you steadily downward.
Picture yourself like a mountain,
Strong and steady.
Solid at your core.
Seasons pass over the mountain.
Storms come and go.
But the mountain remained steady and rooted.
Feel that same steadiness within you.
Each breath anchoring you a little stronger into the ground.
If there is any restless energy in the body or mind.
Let it gently drain out of you.
Allowing gravity to pull it downward onto the earth below.
Take a few slow breaths here,
Continuing to imagine yourself as a mountain.
Strong and solid.
Breathing in calm.
