Hello everyone,
Welcome to this meditation.
Welcome to this moment in your life.
Welcome to feeling better.
How many of us go through that cloud of not feeling good enough?
Putting pressure on ourselves,
Feeling like we have not done enough.
Well,
The whole time we are probably doing too much.
Today we're going to be talking about finding that inner worth.
Creating that feeling that we are enough,
That we are appreciated,
And that we are wanted.
So often we go through life and we feel a sense of lack,
Of not being good enough,
Of not really being the person that we want to be.
That energy state is draining and we can tell that there's something missing.
What I would like to spend this time doing is meditating into a space where we can create the very thing that is missing within ourselves.
That we can imagine that light,
That inspiration,
Connecting to what it is that we wish to have.
I would suggest,
I would invite you to believe that the moment that we create within us,
What we see is missing in the world,
That the entire world will be healed in that process.
We will be healed.
We will be complete and we'll be able to feel that.
So no matter what has gone on in your day,
What kind of experiences you've had,
No matter the chaos or the challenges,
Let's just take a moment.
Let us clear this energy.
Let's clear our space,
Our mind,
Our heart,
And take a breath.
Letting go of anything that may be troubling us.
Anything that may feel heavy.
Anything that could be clouding our judgment,
Allowing us to get to a light,
Clear,
And a harmonious way of living.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling your diaphragm and your chest,
Holding it briefly,
And then just letting it go.
Notice that every time you let go,
You are letting go of any of those heavy thoughts,
Any of those feelings,
Beliefs.
Just continue to breathe a few more times,
Allowing that clarity,
That peace to enter as you breathe in and releasing any obstacles,
Any resistance as you breathe out.
Let's do a few more of those.
Breathing in through your nose,
Holding,
And breathing out.
And one more.
In through the nose,
Holding,
And breathing out.
Finding your own pace,
Finding your own cadence,
Method.
Just notice how you are feeling.
Notice the shift in your energy.
It doesn't have to be great.
It simply needs to be slightly better.
Enjoy that slight improvement as we get ready to focus on what it is that we see is missing.
As we continue to breathe,
Simply view that is a bit of darkness,
A bit of quiet,
And imagine within your mind an idea,
An energy,
A light,
Whatever it is that might make that part that's missing.
If you're thinking of a path,
Imagine that this is filling in any holes or any places that that path is not smooth.
If you're thinking of water,
Just imagine a calm and still lake.
If you're thinking sound,
Just think of a nice,
Pleasant,
Harmonious sound that is bringing you energy,
That you feel that completeness.
Almost as though that sound is singing a praise or a joy.
It would be like possibly the sound of happiness.
As I'm thinking of this,
The sound of laughing children come to mind without a care in the world.
Simple happiness.
Continue to breathe,
Breathing in,
Holding,
And breathing out as you continue this square breathing.
Imagine that energy,
That calmness,
That clarity coming to you.
Just continue to breathe.
If any thoughts come into your mind,
Allow them to enter,
Notice them,
And allow them to leave the same way they entered.
The Buddhist monk once said,
Do not try to close your mind.
Do not try to close the front door to a thought,
But simply open up the back door to let it leave.
Continue to breathe.
Continue to feel your energy come in alignment with who you are.
The more you are breathing,
The more peaceful you become.
Any tension in your chest,
Let it go.
Any feeling in any part of your body,
Scanning from your head down through your cheeks,
Through your neck,
Especially at the base of the neck,
Releasing any tension there.
Even spending a little bit of time that if you need to,
Clench that muscle and then release it,
Noticing that even if you thought it was relaxed,
That it relaxes even more,
Allowing that relaxation to move through your body and then scanning down your arms,
Down your chest,
Finishing with your hands,
Your abdomen,
Your hips,
Your legs moving down past your knees,
Past your shins,
Down through your feet,
Allowing relaxation to sweep through you like a wave.
Because that relaxation is coming to you,
Continue to breathe.
Realizing that no matter what is going on on the outside,
If it's not an emergency,
That it can wait.
Allow yourself to relax even further,
Letting go of those perceived thoughts,
Breathing stillness in the quiet.
Breath deep.
Any thoughts that might come up,
Simply let them go,
Enjoying this peace,
This harmony,
This clarity.
Continuing to breathe,
Enjoying this space.
As you come out,
Take three very deep breaths,
Breathing in completely through your nose,
Feeling your diaphragm in your chest,
Holding and then breathing out.
One more time,
Breathing in,
Holding and breathing out.
And again,
Breathing in,
Holding and breathing out.
Notice that your feeling is different than when you started.
Take this peace with you,
Take this greater clarity,
Take this harmony and remember that every time you breathe in,
That you are connecting with this new level of experience.
