Before the day begins,

Let yourself arrive here,

There is nothing you need to do,

Nothing you need to become,

Just this moment,

Gently waking up.

Begin by noticing your breath,

You don't need to change it,

Just feel it moving in and out.

Sense where your body is supported,

The bed beneath you,

The floor,

The chair.

With each exhale invite a little more softness,

Let the shoulders drop,

The jaw unclench,

The belly soften,

There is nowhere else you need to be right now.

Imagine the quality of morning light,

Soft,

Warm,

Unhurried,

Not the full brightness of midday,

Just the first light of the day.

Let that light slowly fill the space around you,

You don't have to step into the day yet,

Let the day come to you.

Feel the warmth around the chest,

The back of the heart,

As if the morning itself is offering a quiet welcome.

Whatever today holds,

You don't have to carry it all at once,

Right now you are allowed to move slowly,

Feel your breath as your anchor,

Something you can return to again and again throughout the day.

Let yourself trust that you will meet each moment.

If it feels right,

Silently offer yourself a simple intention for the day,

Not a goal,

Not a demand,

Just a quality you would like to carry with you,

Ease,

Kindness,

Clarity,

Presence.
