Hello and welcome.

My name is Dan.

I'm going to be guiding us through a session today that really allows us to put a period down on the weeks,

Months,

Or even years that we've been living and decide intentionally to pivot,

Move forward in a way that feels more right for our current vision for our future.

I want us to begin by sitting or laying down and here now I want you just to take a deep inhale and exhale.

Continue with that breathing pattern.

Start by focusing on the very tops of our head.

Let that begin to relax and we feel that relaxation come down into our eyes.

Feel it through our ears and the tip of our nose and then you begin to relax your jaw and your neck and the back of your shoulders and your chest down to your heart.

Relaxing the breath,

Getting receptive and no longer feeling the outside of your body as separate.

Starting to see yourself as the world.

Without fear,

Letting your belly expand on each inhale and naturally fall back toward your spine on the exhale.

Completely relaxed now,

Feeling your hips begin to open as well as the largest muscles in the body,

The glutes,

Quads,

And hamstrings that take us to where we want to go.

Start to come back to home as we're unifying the entire body to work as one intentional unit.

Feeling relaxing regenerative energy down to the knees,

Calves,

Tibialis,

The front of the legs,

Ankles,

Heels,

Toes,

Sole,

Bottom of the feet.

And on a full inhale all the way back up to the top hairs on our head.

And now that we're here in this nice and relaxed receptive state,

Get ready to have some fun today as we enter into our session and let's get started.

In today's session we're gonna be doing three rounds of 50 second breath holds.

We're gonna begin with breath of fire,

Which is a short rapid exhale through the nose only and it sounds like this.

And then we're gonna go into alkaline breathing,

Which is a powerful inhale through the nose and a sigh of relief out the mouth and it sounds like this.

So get set,

Get comfortable,

Listen to the sound of my breath and let's begin together now like this.

Breath of fire.

Alkaline breathing.

Double the speed.

And hold.

And a big exhale right into our breath hold.

Release all the tension from your body.

We'll take our full breath in.

In three,

Two,

One.

And return now to normal breathing.

Get ready for the next round.

All right,

Let's begin.

Breath of fire.

Alkaline breathing.

Double.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a full breath in.

And hold.

And a big exhale right into our breath hold.

Release all the tension from your body.

We'll take our full breath in.

In three,

Two,

One.

And return now to normal breathing.

Get ready for the next round.

All right,

Let's begin.

Breath of fire.

Double the speed.

Alkaline breathing.

Double the speed.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a full breath in.

And hold.

And a big exhale right into our breath hold.

Release all the tension from your body.

We'll take our full breath in.

In three,

Two,

One.

And return now to normal breathing.

And now for today's reading.

Tao Te Ching.

Verse 29.

Do you want to improve the world?

I don't think it can be done.

The world is sacred.

It can't be improved.

If you tamper with it,

You'll ruin it.

If you treat it like an object,

You'll lose it.

There's a time for being ahead.

A time for being behind.

A time for being in motion.

A time for being at rest.

A time for being vigorous.

A time for being exhausted.

A time for being safe.

A time for being in danger.

The master sees things as they are,

Without trying to control them.

She lets things go their own way and resides at the center of the circle.
