I've had many requests for my morning meditation to include music. I'm glad to be able to offer this space to center and set an intention as you start your day. Please enjoy this offering. If you prefer morning meditation without music it is also available. I wish you well, Barbara.

Transcript

Good morning.

Begin by sitting comfortably with your spine straight so you can breathe freely.

Let your body relax.

Allow the chair or cushion to completely support you.

Drop your shoulders away from your ears and release any tension or tightness.

Take a full deep breath.

It is okay to step away from busyness and give yourself the gift of this moment.

Give yourself permission to let go of everything else and just be here for right now.

Place your awareness in your body,

Just following your breath as it flows.

Let your attention rest on the breath as it moves through your nostrils and see if you can notice your belly as it rises and falls.

There is nothing else you have to do right now.

This is your protected time.

Time to be supportively available to yourself.

A few minutes just for you.

As you continue breathing,

Think about the day ahead.

How do you want to show up for yourself?

How do you want to be as you move through the world?

Set your intention for being today and stay with your breath as you focus on your intention.

For example,

May I be kind?

May I be open and curious?

May I recognize my power and use it with integrity?

May I have courage?

May I live my truth?

May I allow the moment to moment experience of what is?

May I be confident?

May I offer myself loving and compassionate self-talk?

May I remember that I am enough?

May I be at peace?

As we close,

Take a really slow,

Deep breath in.

And as you let it go,

Feel the energy of your intention with you as you start your day.

And when you need a reminder,

Just come back to your breath anytime throughout the day to reset your intention.

Take good care of you.
