Welcome to this affirmation practice.

As we begin,

Go ahead and take just a few moments to find whatever position feels right and comfortable in your body today.

Really take your time,

Maybe letting any tension soften,

Maybe finding the breath if that feels soothing for you,

Just adjusting your body,

Settling in.

And go ahead with several affirmations that are intended to soothe and soften.

And as we practice together today,

I invite you to be with the experience,

To notice what's happening in the body.

Just let yourself slow down.

And as we move through the affirmations,

Pay attention to any sensations that are arising in the body.

And if you find that they're pleasant or neutral,

Let your attention rest with that.

And likewise,

If you notice anything coming up that's unpleasant or uncomfortable,

Know that you are supported.

And as gently as you can,

See if you can shift back to a place that feels more pleasant or more neutral,

Offering all of your feelings sweet,

Tender care,

Softening into the experience just as it is.

And let's begin.

I love the person I am and the person I am becoming.

I don't have to be perfect or even near perfect to be worthy of love.

I get to decide how I show up and how I want to be in the world.

I release all the limits and step out of the boxes that have stifled and confined me.

I'm safe from inner and outer harm.

The more I care for my experiences and feelings with tenderness and compassion,

The more I support my stability,

Growth,

And healing.

It is okay and it is right for me to care for my experiences and feelings with tenderness and compassion.

I give myself permission to be tender with and kind to myself.

I need and I deserve my own loving and supportive care,

And it's okay for me to give that to myself.

Yes,

I can love who I am now,

Even as I love who I am becoming.

I am lovable and worthy,

Even as my evolving,

Growing,

Shifting,

Changing,

Impermanent self.

I am enough however and wherever I am in my journey.

I know how to care for all of my feelings,

Even the ones that are sometimes uncomfortable.

I recognize and so,

So tenderly respond to sensations in my body that signal anxiety or distress.

I'm available to care for myself and all my feelings.

I am growing more confident in my ability to show up for myself and care for myself.

And I know how to care for my feelings.

I know that I don't have to dread my feelings or fear them.

I know that feelings rise and fall and that my experience of being in my body,

I'm going to experience ebbs and flows and that's okay.

I can gently ride the waves.

And I know that everything that arises is also of the nature to shift and change and fall away.

And that no feeling is final.

As feelings arise,

I stay present.

I bring my compassion and my gentleness and my kindness and my love to my own inner experience.

And I'm getting better at being available to myself.

I'm getting better at being available to myself.

And I'm getting better at being responsive to myself and to my feelings.

I give myself permission to slow down and to be supportive to myself to take each moment as it comes.

I release all expectations about how I think things should be.

And I face things as they are,

With clarity,

With wisdom,

And with some courage.

Because I know I have everything I need to meet this moment.

I can trust myself to get through this.

Choosing the next best step is getting easier for me.

I trust my own wisdom and I know that I can rely on that wisdom and strength.

I revel in the sweet simplicity of ordinary,

Everyday moments,

Those simple joys.

Joy is available to me.

My attitude shapes my experience.

I let myself also pay attention to what is going right and well in my life.

I do know that joy is available to me.

And I can recognize what is also true,

Even in the midst of difficulties.

I remind myself that I am always enough.

I have enough.

I do enough.

I am good enough.

Take a moment now to notice how these affirmations are landing in your body.

Notice any sensations that are arising.

Noticing too what it's like to be in your body at this moment.

The sense of being supported and in practice with so many other people sharing this community.

We are all on this path together.

May we all remember that we are not alone,

That we are all supported,

That we are worthy,

That we are enough,

And that we really do indeed deserve and need our own love and care.

Continue to show up for yourself daily.

Thank you so much for your practice.

May you be well.

I feel so supported by this teacher. I found a few of the affirmations not suitable for me to repeat on my own due to their length but that’s ok. I let them wash over me. I particularly appreciated reminding myself that I am doing enough and the suggestion to offer myself tenderness. Many thanks for offering another healing meditation.

So good and useful. Believe or not, I used it as motivation to get on my rebounder for 15 minutes, and I went to be feeling settled and positive about myself. Advancing years and emotional baggage can sliw me to a stop. These gentle, non-aggressive affirmations were easy to accept about myself at 77. Slept well and woke in the positive zone where I was inclined to make a (gentle) to-do list. Thanks very much for your goid work. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ’ž

Thank you for shining your beautiful light, it helps me shine my own light on the shadows within me. This is revealing to me that there IS beauty in my shadows and I do not need to avoid or fear them!

Thank you! You are beautiful and this affirmation is beautiful! It touches on so many aspects of self-care that i am working on right now. Also, thank you so much for offering it without music. Your voice is beautiful, and sometimes music can be distracting or annoying. Thank you.
