My name is Samantha Archibald of Sai Yoga.
Thank you for joining me as we come into a comfortable seat and we begin to flow,
Flow with the natural rhythm of nature.
So breathe in,
Breathe in calm,
Breathe in stillness.
As you exhale,
You are just letting go.
We don't even want to think of what we are letting go of.
We just want to let go.
Letting go of ideas,
Perceptions,
And judgments so that we are allowing ourselves to flow,
To flow with the natural rhythm of nature.
And we allow the body to be at ease.
We bring the mind into the space,
Into the space of mindfulness.
The problem of our mind is not so much that it thinks of this or that.
It is how we think and where we put our attention.
We often focus on things that do not really serve.
Or we focus so much on one point that we lose sight of the big picture.
But if we keep our attention balanced,
If we keep our attention steady,
Where we are simply attentive to what is literally in front of us in our present moment,
We stay and we start to create the kind of mental balance,
The kind of body calm,
The kind of steadiness we want,
Not only in our thoughts,
But in our lifestyle,
In the way we live.
So we have to have our minds attentive to what is happening in the here and now.
It doesn't mean that we don't plan.
In contrary,
We have to prepare our lives.
We wouldn't be motivated to move forward if we didn't plan to live our lives.
However,
If we don't take the time to be in the present moment,
We lose sight of the whole purpose of living.
And we will be living life,
Running after idea after idea,
Not experiencing life because we're such in a rush for the next thought,
The next goal,
The next moment.
And we lose sight of the here and now.
Therefore,
Being here is about experiencing life.
Regardless of the outcome of this moment,
We are flowing with the rhythm of nature.
And yes,
Sometimes it can be chaotic and all your plans and ideas get replaced or completely destroyed.
But can you allow yourself to be flexible?
Can you allow yourself to move through whatever circumstances that arise,
Knowing that our intentions are in motion?
And all we can do now is be present and allow the mind to stay here with you,
Flowing through the natural nature of life.
So as we listen to the sounds of nature,
Take the time now in this space,
Experiencing this space,
Experiencing the here and now.
Pay attention to the thoughts that pass through the mind and allow the breath to flow and release those thoughts into nature so that you stay flowing with the natural rhythm of nature.
