Welcome.
My name is Samantha Archibald Osayoga.
I would like to take you on a short journey.
For this journey,
You don't need to pack anything or go anywhere.
Instead,
Let's begin by unloading.
So come into a comfortable seat where your back is nice and long.
That you can be on a chair,
Seated on the floor,
Or lying down.
Take a deep breath as you close your eyes.
Relax your shoulders and neck as you exhale.
To prepare for this journey,
We need the body to be completely relaxed.
So what can we let go of at this moment?
So that we can get relaxed.
Let's start by unloading any tension around the temple,
Eyebrows,
And jaw.
Inhale the breath slowly as you feel the chest,
The rib cage,
And the shoulders expand.
Then gently release the exhale as your chest,
Your rib cage,
And your shoulders completely relax.
Every inhale,
Bring your breath to another area of your body.
And allow the exhale to ease,
Soften those areas.
Such as the arms,
Back,
Hips,
And legs.
Until the body feels a feeling of calm,
Of ease.
Take another few breaths here.
Now,
Our journey has begun.
As you sit here comfortably,
Imagine yourself at the seashore.
Walking along barefoot,
Absorbing the feeling of the sand with each step.
While collecting seashells of different sizes.
And flying overhead,
You listen to the seagulls and the waves in against the shoreline.
A light breeze passes by.
And you inhale the fragrance of the sea.
You are free.
Free to enjoy.
Free to be in this moment.
Eventually,
You come to a large stone at the edge of the shore.
And you take a seat on the top of it.
And you can see straight across,
Out to the horizon.
How beautiful.
The sight.
And you can see to infinity.
Nothing seems urgent.
No timeline.
And no need to be anywhere but here.
In this space,
At this moment.
Life is good.
And in that split moment.
An enormous amount of love,
Joy,
And warmth.
You can close your eyes,
Your nose,
Your spirit.
And you can face whatever stands before you.
And a sigh of relief releases with your exhale.
You feel strong,
Courageous,
Ready,
Certain.
When you open your eyes,
You can see the sun beginning to set.
And you know it's time to go.
But before you walk away,
You remember the seashells collected in your hands.
One at a time.
You pick one up.
And you throw it back into the sea.
And with each shell,
You let go of a thought,
An emotion that doesn't serve you.
And you release it back into the sea.
And you allow yourself to cleanse your mind and your spirit of that thought or emotion.
Until one by one,
Your palm is empty of the shells.
And you take another deep breath.
And as you exhale it out,
You are ready to leave it all behind.
So you take one more glance.
As the sun sets.
And you head back to a tone.
To the seat where you began.
You allow your mind to follow your breath again.
Quietly.
You acknowledge your surroundings.
And with a smile and an open heart.
You're ready.
Prepared.
For the day ahead.
Have a beautiful day.
And Namaste.
