Namaste,
Good morning and welcome.
My name is Samantha from Sai Yoga.
If you have a moment before,
Stretch a little bit,
It's very helpful before you come to your seat.
And know that your comfort seat might not be a cross-legged seat,
It might be more of a chair or more of a cushion and your back against the wall.
So let's get ready and begin.
Let's close our eyes as we take the time to place our hands onto our knees.
Allow your palms to be open so that you are opening up yourself to something greater than your own ideas,
Your own perspectives.
Opening up yourself to positivity,
Opening up yourself to the universe,
Opening up yourself to discover the being within you,
Allowing that energy,
That light that resonates within you to shine.
Many times you hear people say that,
Oh,
You want to discover.
And sometimes the word discover,
When it comes to going inwards,
I have to remind myself it's not the correct word because you are this beam of light.
You are this wonderful positivity.
You are all that you desire in this world.
But we tend to,
Through society,
Culture,
Conditioning,
We tend to forget that it's all within us,
That everything that we're searching for is already within us.
And we spend so much time looking outside of ourselves,
Searching for what we're supposed to be,
How we're supposed to live,
That we forget that if we go deep within ourselves and let go of all the attachments,
Which means conditioning,
Cultural,
Gender,
Relationship,
All of what is outside of us,
And just start from within ourselves with no identity,
With no name.
Put that all aside because if you think about it,
All that can change.
All that can change in a matter of a second.
And you will watch that change.
You within yourself will watch that change as if it was a movie.
You watched the change happen,
But something stays watching that change.
Something remains within you that always remain with you from the age of when you can recognize and be conscious of your mind,
What,
Three,
Four,
Five,
To the day you pass and leave this world.
There is something that's constantly watching the change of life,
The folds in front of you.
Now that that watches is you,
Is your light,
Is your energy.
But when we don't take the time to open up,
To acknowledge,
To accept,
To trust,
To be in that space,
Then our lives become complicated,
Become unclear,
Is doubtful,
We suffer,
We struggle in a way that brings no benefit,
In a way that negativity forms,
In a way that is force.
Now we're gonna struggle,
We're gonna suffer,
But some of us suffer in agony.
Some of us feel tormented,
And others suffer,
But are okay.
What I mean by suffering,
We have emotions,
We have emotions,
And they change.
We go from happy to sad,
From angry to joyful,
To excited,
To frustrated.
But we know that will pass.
We know that one minute we're upset about something,
But it's not important.
It will pass.
You will get through it.
It is just a change in motion.
It doesn't stop you from being happy,
And I want you to think about that.
In this time when we're going through this uncertainty,
Not knowing where the next paycheck might be coming from,
Not knowing if you might have your home.
If you walk outside of yourself,
If you walk thinking about,
I might not have a home,
I might be homeless,
And not look,
But I have my health,
I have my family,
And I will get through this.
Let's say you don't have any family.
Let's say you have your health.
If you have the certainty in your heart and the drive in your soul,
You have your health.
With that,
You will get through it.
But you have to rely on something more than what's happening outside of you,
Which might mean that you might have to rely that maybe you don't have your home,
Maybe you don't have your friends,
Maybe things don't work out the way it seems.
But you do have you,
And you do breathe this world in and out.
You do have life.
And some of you,
Health is not the best.
Your health might not be the best.
But you do have the drive and the love within your heart and the passion to live the life,
The best life you can at this moment.
Because if you sit there not feeling well and just drowning or feeling sorry for yourself because your health is not where it would like to be,
And don't get me wrong,
Not all of us are healthy.
Some of us spend our entire life dealing with health problems.
And that's frustrating and painful in every way.
But the joy that you have in your heart,
The joy that is created within you,
No one can take away,
Not even pain.
You have to trust in yourself in that because people live in this world without an arm,
Without legs,
Blind,
With plenty of disabilities that affect the way they can function in this world,
Yet they are happy.
Yet they find joy when they open their eyes and look at the blue skies and see a butterfly.
What makes the difference is their perspective.
Because whatever is happening to the body outside of your heart,
That will change from day to day.
But again,
The person who's watching all that happen is you.
So you're not discovering you.
You are awakening to you.
And when you awaken to the person and the being,
The energy,
Which is what it is,
An energy force that's within you that looks at everything and every aspect of your life from birth to the last breath,
If you trust in that energy,
If you trust in that heart,
Regardless of what the struggles and challenges that face you outside of this world,
That being will always be with you.
So you don't have to discover it.
You have to be it.
So take a little bit more time here,
Awakening not just to the morning,
But to yourself,
To the beautiful energy being that's within you that will handle each day,
Some days with frustration and anger,
But know that will change.
Some days with pain,
But know your heart is greater.
If you wake up each day and you can take a deep breath and exhale it out,
Then you wake up and be a part of this world.
With joy and love in your heart,
No one can take that away from you.
Nothing can take that away from you,
But you.
You can choose.
Choose to live bright.
Choose to live awake.
Choose to be here.
Take a little bit more time,
But for now I leave you.
Have a wonderful day.
Stay safe.
Wash your hands.
Keep your distance.
Those things help us to connect and be conscious of each other.
If you can,
Stay home,
But stay safe.
Namaste.
