
Deepening Your Intuitive Guidance Practice
This session offers further instruction to help you strengthen and deepen your Intuitive Guidance practice. You will learn how to bring the process into your daily life, how to track your progress through journaling and reflection, and how to recognize signs that the practice is working. This track was taken from my course, Intuitive Guidance For Self Healing.

Hello and welcome to session four of intuitive guidance for self-healing So by now you have hopefully done the guided session and have a good grasp of the intuitive guidance process.
This session is designed to sort of recap and recontextualize what we've done offer some ideas and ways and insights that it has helped people in the past and give you some ideas of how to know if it's working and how to add intuitive guidance as a self-practice into your day.
The idea being that the more you work with these parts and this process the more opportunities you'll have to release old wounds,
Reintegrate and reconnect with your true self.
This is a process of developing trust with the paths of your past and it takes time.
Before we get into that the next session,
Session five,
Is the final session of this course and it's called intuitive guidance daily practice.
The idea is that what I'm offering in that session is an example of how you can do intuitive guidance daily with the assumption that you've gone deep and connected to one or more parts.
So if you've done session two once or a couple of times there are some parts to work with and you would like a quicker way to connect and sort of get into that space again,
Session five is there for you.
But what we're going to do today is just have a little sort of a deeper discussion and a reminder of the process.
I want to remind you of the premises that we're working with,
The main ones being that the body keeps the score.
Remember throughout life different things happen and sometimes it's too much to process in the moment.
Humans are interesting animals,
Unlike most every other animal,
When something happens to them other animals just sort of shake it off and release and get back to life.
They flee from danger,
They fight back,
Something happens and when they're safe they shake down their body,
They release the cortisol and the other things going on and unless what's happening to them is prolonged they're typically not psychologically impacted.
But humans are a bit different,
We don't necessarily know how to release in the moment,
Perhaps we're never taught or perhaps we're not in a position to be able to do so.
If the things we're going through are prolonged or happened to us at a young age,
Maybe we weren't modeled,
Maybe we never knew or maybe it just seemed odd or embarrassing to shake and to move and to release and to process and to express at the time.
In order to fit in with our families,
With our societies,
With our religion,
With our culture,
We have to repress and push away and block off.
What that does is that it causes the body to hold on to things and by holding on to it,
It typically manifests with blockages,
With pain,
With illness and injury and just with level of disconnect and dysfunction,
The body keeps the score.
And it keeps the score and it wants to tell us and that's the second premise,
That emotions are messages,
The things that came up for you in the guided session.
They are messages,
All of the different physical feelings and the mental phenomena,
The visualizations,
The memories,
All of that stuff is a message and over time,
That message will become clear.
So by returning and reconnecting and going deeper into this practice of intuitive guidance,
We can help the body to unburden,
We can help to process the past,
We can help to embrace ourself,
Our true self,
Our total self,
We can help to heal.
Like I said in the practice,
It's a matter of building trust.
Oftentimes these parts haven't been connected with,
Haven't been touched upon for years.
So,
Justifiably so,
They're skeptical,
They want us to know that we're going to continue practicing,
They want to trust us,
Indeed they want to get to know us again.
In the guided session,
We asked the part how old does it think we are?
And typically the response is quite young.
These parts get locked in at the time of the events and they are stuck in fight,
Flight,
Freeze or fawn.
And they don't trust that if they stop,
We will be safe.
But by reconnecting,
By processing,
By doing this intuitive guidance work,
We can let them know that we are older,
We are wiser,
We are more capable and we are ready to commit to reconnection,
To putting in the work,
And to returning,
And to healing,
And to releasing.
So,
It's with all that said that I would like to offer you a few different ways to continue this intuitive guidance work.
The first one of course is to repeat this course,
To do in particular session number two,
The long form guided session,
Once a week.
The idea is that you go deep and you really can explore the different parts of your body that are arising.
Some parts will release instantly and other parts may take multiple sessions.
But I also encourage you to be open to your parts,
Speaking,
Sharing and connecting with you at other times during the day,
Perhaps as you're having a shower or as you're falling asleep,
Perhaps during a daily practice.
I do intuitive guidance with myself 10 minutes morning and night.
The practice is a little bit different to what I gave you in session number two,
And indeed I will offer you a guided version of this in the final session,
Session five,
That is coming next.
But the idea is that each day,
Morning and night,
I get myself calm,
I check into that core sense of myself,
And I just do a brief scan and check in with the different parts that I've been working with.
I sort of connect into myself,
Get into that place of the self,
The profound quiet,
The observer,
Mindfulness,
That sort of space.
And from that place,
I just do a brief scan of the body,
Touching upon the different parts that I've been working with,
Just to let them know that I'm still here,
That I'm checking on them,
And that they're welcome to share and to connect.
And that at some stage,
I will go deep and we'll do the intuitive guidance work once more.
What I find is that in conjunction with the longer form sessions,
These daily check-ins are great ways to both calm down,
Reconnect to the self,
And gradually allow the parts to release.
Because the next time I go deep,
The next time I do the equivalent of session two,
Really going in and doing the deep work,
These parts know I'm there for them.
They know that I'm committed,
They know that I will come back,
And they know that they will be heard and listened to.
It's a slow process of building trust.
So I encourage you at any time to repeat session two,
Or to do the next session in this course,
Session five,
As a daily practice.
And also,
If you feel compelled perhaps to start a little bit of a journal,
I discovered in this part of my body,
This sort of thing arose,
I discovered this sort of visualization,
I had this sort of insight,
Just as a way that you can look over to touch back upon and to see what's arising.
You know that you're on the right path when you feel that profound sense of inner quiet.
When during the practice,
There is a deep physical,
Emotional,
Or spiritual release,
Maybe laughter,
Or crying,
Or just other emotional expressions.
You know you're on the right path when you feel those deep shivers.
There's a deep feelings of insights and connection.
And I entrust you to work with those processes,
To practice daily,
And to be open to the different parts of you connecting.
Like I said,
This is something I'm doing deeply,
Something I do daily,
And something that is providing profound benefits,
Profound healing,
And profound progress for both myself and many others.
The more you work with intuitive guidance,
The more benefits it will give you.
And with that said,
