This guided meditation will help you calm down. It begins with a gentle welcome, followed by an invitation to simply be in the session. There is nothing to be done - other than to breathe. It will encourage you to release any tension in the body and welcome healing energy. It will help ground you in the present moment calmly and safely, perfect as a lead into sleep or as anxiety relief. Enjoy!

Hello and welcome to the session.

I invite you to take a seat or lay down and get yourself comfortable.

You can close down the eyes if you wish and take a deep slow breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

This session will involve guided breathwork and visualization.

It can be used as a sleep aid and played just before bed or as a way to mitigate some of the symptoms of anxiety or overwhelming emotion.

As we settle into this session,

I just want to remind you then,

For the next 10 minutes or so,

There is nothing you need to do,

Nothing you need to think,

Nothing you need to be other than in this moment and with your breath.

Take another deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth and we're just going to sigh a little bit on the exhale.

Just take a moment to tune in to the sensations entering your body.

What can you feel right now?

Take another slow deep breath in through the nose and sighing out through the mouth and just feel your body relaxing.

Maybe you notice the sensation of clothes or the wind upon your skin or perhaps some tension that is held within a certain area of your body.

That's okay and our goal isn't to change it,

Just to notice it,

Just to accept it and just to invite it to release.

Picture with your next in-breath,

Healing energy entering your body and flowing,

Flowing to that place,

To that space that holds that little bit of tension.

And on the out-breath,

Imagine that space just gently letting go.

Just releasing if it wants to.

Radiant,

Peaceful,

Calm and as you breathe out,

You're just releasing,

Just letting go,

Just putting it down.

I invite you to put down all of the worries,

All of the thoughts,

All of the tensions,

All of the confusions,

All of the fear,

All of the conflicts.

I invite you to put it all down with each out-breath.

There is nothing that needs to be done,

Nothing that needs to be said,

Nothing that needs to be thought.

All you need to do is be here,

In this moment,

And just breathe,

Slowly,

Breathing in radiant energy from whatever place,

Or space,

Or entity that you derive your power from,

And just breathing out and releasing any tensions that may arise.

Now draw your attention to what you can hear,

Just breathing slowly,

Deeply,

In through the nose and out through the mouth,

And just listening.

You're not grasping,

Not holding on to,

Not labeling or identifying the sounds,

Just listening,

Just breathing.

As we come to the end of the session,

I just want to remind you then,

That you can return back to this session,

Or indeed,

Just back to the sighing,

Slow,

Deep breath,

At any time,

It's always there,

And always available.
