
Yawn & Stretch: Nervous System Downshift

Just as animals instinctively shake, stretch, yawn, and sigh to release stress, humans are designed to regulate in the same way. In this gentle seated somatic practice, we’ll use breath, fascia stretching, and flowing movement to help release stored tension and calm the nervous system. This class is designed to support the body out of fight-or-flight mode and back into a deeper state of rest, relaxation, and safety. You may experience yawns, sighs, emotional release, or a sense of heaviness as the body softens and unwinds.
