This isn't a breakdown - it's a return. A body scan for the ones who've lived everywhere but here. Who've worn resilience like armor. Who've survived by checking out of their own skin. Room by room. Breath by breath. No fixing. No forcing. Just noticing. Because maybe healing doesn't begin with doing more...Maybe it begins with finally resting where you are. This is not about becoming someone new. It's about coming home to the YOU that never left...

You moved out long ago,

But your breath still has the keys.

This body,

Your body,

Once your sanctuary,

Became storage.

You locked rooms,

Sealed doors,

And forgot the floor plan.

But today,

We go room by room.

Not to fix it,

But to notice it still holds you.

Welcome home.

We start at the basement,

Your feet,

Foundation and forgotten.

Kneel then meet the floor.

Let your breath sweep in from the soles,

And out through the toes.

They carried you through more than you recall,

Let them rest now without running.

Move upward into your calves,

Knees,

And thighs.

These are the stairwells,

Always taking you somewhere,

Never pausing.

Breathe in from the knees up,

Exhale and soften the climb.

Stillness is also movement.

Now pause at the living room,

The belly and hips.

The most lived in space,

The most guarded,

A place.

Breathe into this room,

Let the walls expand.

Let go of bracing,

You're not under siege anymore.

Climb to the second floor,

Your chest and shoulders,

Where you stored stories,

Where grief curled up on the couch.

Inhale through the ribs,

Exhale and drop the shoulder blades,

For not everything needs to be carried up here.

Open the guest room,

Your arms and hands,

They've done so much serving,

Reaching,

Holding.

Let them rest,

Palms open,

You're allowed to receive too.

Now to the attic,

The neck,

Jaw,

Face,

And crown,

Closed,

Full of unsent thoughts.

Breathe into your face,

And let it drop its mask,

Let your jaw unlock the doors,

Silence closed.

You don't need to be composed in your own home,

Now guide your breath from crown to feet,

Inhale through the roof,

And exhale back to its foundation.

The house remembers you,

Every floor,

Every frame,

Every forgotten corner.

You didn't do a scan,

You took a tour.

You didn't fix the wiring,

You flipped on the lights.

So repeat,

Or receive this.

This body is mine to return to.

Every part of me is still home,

I don't need permission to rest here.

My friend,

You're not falling apart,

You're moving back in.

So may your mind,

Body,

And spirit be abundant with peace,

And the warmth of your own welcome today,

And every day.

Namaste.
