Welcome!

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position sitting,

Standing,

Or lying down in a way that feels right and supportive for you in this moment.

Soften your gaze or gently close your eyes if that feels safe.

Take a slow breath in and gentle breath out.

If it feels supportive,

Allow your jaw to soften,

Shoulders to relax,

And your body to settle.

Now,

Let us find the first element,

Earth.

Imagine a place in nature where you feel calm and at ease.

Perhaps a forest,

A park,

A mountain,

Or a garden.

There is no right or wrong way of imagining where this place is.

Notice what comes to mind,

The colors,

The shapes,

The textures,

And the sounds.

Sense the steady grounding presence of the earth.

Imagine this rooting energy settling into your lower body,

Your hips,

Legs,

And feet.

Notice sensations like stability,

Heaviness,

Or simply a gentle support beneath you.

Take a few deep breaths,

Receiving this grounding energy,

And when you're ready,

Gently let it go.

Now,

Welcome the element of water.

You might picture rain,

A river,

Or gentle ocean waves.

Notice how the water moves,

Fluid,

Adaptable,

Flowing with ease.

If it feels supportive,

Imagine this quality of flow entering your belly and your hips.

Bring softness,

Movement,

And fluidity.

If the body wants to move,

Feel free to explore movement like swing gently,

Maybe circling around,

Welcoming how your body naturally would like to move in this moment.

We're going to spend a few moments here.

And when you're ready,

Gently release the water energy.

Next,

Invite the element of fire.

Picture a small flame from a fire source.

Notice its glow,

Its warmth,

The way it flickers or changes color.

Welcome this warmth into the center of your body,

Around your navel area.

It may feel like a spark of energy,

Motivation,

Or a sense of inner light.

We're going to take a few more deep breaths with this gentle fire.

And whenever it feels right,

Slowly let it go.

Now,

Welcome the element of air.

Imagine looking up at the sky.

What do you see?

Perhaps clouds drifting or a breeze moving through.

Sense this air moving around your heart center,

Creating spaciousness,

Clearing,

And refreshing your inner world.

Allow yourself to breathe fully and freely.

When you're ready,

Gently release the energy of air.

Finally,

Invite the element of ether,

The space that surrounds and connects all things.

This might feel like light,

Warmth,

Openness,

Or simply a sense of spacious presence.

Notice your whole body resting here.

In this moment,

Supported by all five natural elements.

Let's take three more deep breaths in and out.

Begin to notice the room around you,

The ground beneath you,

And your body in the here and now.

If you would like,

Close today's meditation with a simple intention to take away for the rest of your day.

It can be something like,

I'm grounded,

I am open,

Or I am at ease.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself and may the elements support and guide you whenever you need.
