In our current world, which values productivity and profit, we sometimes forget that we are human beings, not AI or machines. It is essential to intentionally take time for rest. It is critical that our bodies feel rested to be able to thrive in our day-to-day lives, not just survive. I hope that repeating the affirmations can encourage you to take a break, rest, and daydream without feeling shame or guilt. Remember to take care of yourself, so you can show up energized and have a positive impact on yourself and others. Music: Peaceful Mind - Astron

Good morning,

Good afternoon and good evening wherever you're listening in from.

We'll start by finding a quiet space and slowly settle into a relaxed posture that feels right for you.

Maybe that's standing,

Sitting or lying down.

Let's take three deep breaths together to bring our awareness to the present moment.

Today we will repeat affirmations to inspire and give ourselves permission to slow down and tune into our bodies.

Immerse in the sensation or the feelings you get from the words of each affirmation.

Repeat the sentence silently in your mind or recite it out loud to yourself or write it down.

As you do so,

Be mindful of any thoughts or emotions that might come up and know that you're loved and supported.

Get ready to explore the affirmations today to help us into a more restful state.

Thank yourself for showing up to today's practice.

Take care and I'll see you next time.
