Welcome.

Welcome.

River of Light Meditation.

Remember to stay with slow rhythmic breath throughout your meditation.

Full deep inhalations and full deep exhalations.

Try to keep a rhythm to your breath and always come back to the sound of your own breath as you listen to the words of my voice during this meditation.

Make yourself comfortable and close your eyes.

Take a slow deep breath and let go of any tension as you feel yourself sinking into the surface you're resting on.

Becoming still more comfortable and relaxed.

Take another slow deep breath and release your thoughts letting them drift far away.

Take another slow deep breath and know that in this moment all is well.

Bring your awareness into your heart center,

The energy center in the middle of your chest and notice a softness there.

Imagine all of the energy you've sent out into the world lately coming back home to your heart helping you to feel more whole and more complete.

Quietly receive this energy and know that for now it's okay to simply be here,

Relax and receive.

Imagine a column of light descending from the highest heavens,

Through the sky,

Through your ceiling and into your room.

This light contains a multitude of beautifully colored healing energies,

Angelic blessings and whispered messages of love from above all for you in a never-ending stream.

Just as this column of light touches your floor it transforms into a river flowing in front of you,

A combination of living water and sacred light.

All the healing energies,

Angelic blessings and whispered messages of love are now streaming before you in a continuous offering waiting for you to receive.

And so you remove your shoes and place your feet in this river of light.

Breathe deeply and feel its blessings flowing up into your ankles,

Legs,

Hips,

Torso,

Arms,

Shoulders and head until your whole body is filled and overflowing with love.

Continue to take full deep breaths and allow all the concerns of daily life to release as you receive this gift.

Now you find yourself holding a baby in your arms,

You as a newborn.

So much has happened in your life and a lot of it hasn't been easy.

But today you can let go of the past,

Bless yourself and return to that tender state of innocence keeping all the wisdom you've gained along the way.

Open your heart as wide as you can as you tenderly place yourself as that newborn into the river of light.

Just long enough to receive whatever you need.

Healing can happen in an instant.

And now once again hold your newborn self to your chest,

Cradled in your arms,

Giving and receiving in a full circle of love.

Take a few moments to experience this.

As you continue,

The love you pour into yourself as a newborn begins to expand it.

Until it's so large that it surrounds and embraces you.

Your newborn self has become your own soul with all the higher wisdom,

Light and energy you truly are.

Feel the light and love of your soul pouring into you now as you open,

Allow and receive.

Now you and your soul begin to expand further,

Becoming larger and larger until you completely merge with the whole of creation.

Feel yourself dissolve into pure love held in the arms of the creator.

Slowly begin to return to the river of light flowing before you.

Imagine it continuing to flow through your life over the next day,

The next week,

Month and year.

Envision yourself touching into it through times of peace and times of challenge,

Drawing support and encouragement,

And being filled with its blessing whenever you need it.

If there is anyone else whom you would like to share this with,

Imagine them now standing in the river of light,

Receiving whatever they may need for their highest good.

It's almost time to bring this inner journey to a close,

But first take a moment to thank yourself for giving yourself this gift.

Bring your awareness gently back to your physical surroundings.

Become more aware of your breathing,

The sounds in the air.

Gently wiggle your fingers.

Take a full deep breath in and a full deep breath out.

Take your time and when you're ready,

Open your eyes and feel awake,

Alert and refreshed.
