Let's find a comfortable place for our bodies.
Planting our feet on the floor and putting our legs somewhere comfortable.
Our arms,
Let's allow our arms to rest somewhere comfortable maybe in our lap and we'll take a few deeper breaths as we become settled.
Next time we inhale,
Let's allow our spine to become a little bit taller,
Our chest a little more open and as we exhale let's allow our shoulders to soften,
The muscles of our face to soften and settling into our chair a little bit.
We'll see if we can have this balance between alert and relaxed,
Having a little bit of both.
And bringing our attention inwards to our breath.
And feeling how we feel right now.
And just noticing how it is we feel right now.
Physically,
Mentally and emotionally.
And seeing if we can accept our breath and we can accept,
Even embrace and allow how we feel right now.
Can we do that even if it's something that's a little bit uncomfortable?
So let's bring our attention to our solar plexus,
Our sternum.
Let's feel that part of the body.
Just noticing how that feels for us.
We can visualize it as a yellow light if that's helpful.
Visualize the energy in this part of the body as a yellow light.
In the chakra tradition this is our energy center,
Our power center.
Our will,
Our determination.
As we breathe,
Let's allow it to open and glow a little more brightly.
As if the petals of the flower are opening as we inhale.
With each breath becoming a little brighter,
A little more open.
Bringing our attention to come to our feet and the earth beneath our feet.
The solidity,
Stability beneath us.
Allowing our attention to spread out over the surface of the earth.
And then it goes downwards into the earth.
And you can imagine this,
Visualize this in any way that's helpful for you.
There's no right or wrong.
Traveling down through the layers and starting to feel the heat and the energy and the power in the earth.
The deeper we travel,
The hotter,
The brighter.
Energy becoming denser and stronger.
We are connecting with the power of the earth.
Let's feel it all around us.
And we can feel it within us.
Absorbing this heat.
This power.
Energy.
And allowing our solar plexus to absorb some of the earth's power,
She doesn't mind.
Feelingly shares with us.
Charging us like a battery.
Resting here for a moment and bathing in this energetic,
Hot,
Rich soup.
Breathing it in.
Let's thank the earth for sharing with us.
We're going to leave the centre and rise up past our current location and up above the ground.
A little bit higher,
Maybe we can see ourselves in our house.
Allowing our imaginary body to float above the surface.
Our perspective literally rising higher as our town starts to recede beneath us.
We can view the earth from a higher vantage point.
When we start to notice its movement and its partner the moon and its journey through the space around the sun.
Let's turn and face the sun now.
And although it's bright,
Brilliant,
It doesn't hurt to look at.
We feel it's warming,
Energising waves of energy.
Pouring so generously onto us,
Onto the earth.
Out into the whole realm of our solar system.
Endlessly giving out energy.
Here too we can rest a moment.
And absorbing some of the sun's energy,
Freely given.
Taking it into our body,
Our energetic body,
Absorbing this power.
And we are noticing.
The energy in our body now.
And our batteries fully charged.
We signal our thanks to the sun.
Before we return,
Turning our attention once more to the earth.
We noticed we've reached a marker point in that orbit.
Half year mark,
Mid year.
When in the northern hemisphere,
The light and the heat and the energy of the sun is at its greatest.
And at the point of its highest power,
The wheel turns.
And the sun's power slowly starts to diminish.
And we set the intention to take this power with us into the receding light,
Into the half of the year where the darkness is growing.
We take this light with us,
This energy and power with us.
Our body illuminated,
Vibrant.
Our cells energised.
Giving thanks for the recharge and returning to our bodies gradually.
Noticing our seated body.
And if we need to,
If that is our choice,
We can once again share the energy between our solar plexus and our feet and the earth and the sun.
Making sure we feel in balance,
In harmony.
Still we have this connection between us,
The earth and the sun.
So the energy in our body is harmonious and in balance with the world around us.
Feeling our body,
Our physical body,
Our mental energy,
Our emotional energy.
And noticing if that's different from when we began our journey.
And let's take a deeper breath and we can start to move our body.
Reanimate our body and have a little stretch if that's for us.
